I hope the next splatoon game isn't just "SPLATOON 4" and instead is something like "Splatoon: Breaking wave" or "Splatnation". I feel like after 3 games number titles are silly- same with pikmin 4 feeling silly to me.

Challanges that will make you dissolve into ink:

Splatoon 3 alterna but you can only use little buddy, subs, and specials

Spire of order but you can only splat the guys on wheels and bosses. Splat any other jelleton and you have to restart your run.

After alterna without walking (swimming / standing only)

Splatoon 2 storymode full pacifist run (can only splat bosses or key holders)

Octo expansion without sub/special (skip all challanges that use sub/special) unlock all lines and earn at least 15 mem cakes

Splatoon 1 storymode but you cannot charge your ink in squid form (walk to recharge- you may climb walls when needed)

kind of hope the next splatfest has a more unique colour palette because all have then have been some variation of orange/pink vs yellow/green vs blue/purple. like i know its probably difficult to balance the 3 colours but it cant be that hard to put some variation in there..

so who was going o tell me overlorder's tentacle wall attack still kills you if your between lorder and his wall even if there's nothing to hit you? i died on the final floor because of an invisible hurt box for that attack so appearently you can only survive dodging to the left or right. It was such bull shit to be splatted by litterally nothing. anyway still havent finished the pallet because that was so embarassing

You’re a kid now you’re a squid now you’re a kid you’re a squid you’re an adult and the first splatoon game will soon be abandonware. The story mode of the first game is now a missing piece of the story for new players because nobody is going to buy a wii u and a copy of the first game for a single player mode that most players finish in 2 hours.

So basically I can’t play any multiplayer except salmon run because the splatter color screen hurts me (even with color lovk abd stuff) and I don’t like the catalog system (shops feel useless without new items) and I am eagerly awaiting splatoon 4 with the next console announcement.

I love the characters and story and pve gameplay. The pvp modes are way too competitive and focused on splatting instead of letting me play the game. I spend half my matches respawning and I can’t enjoy myself anymore.

With sideorder out I expect splat3’s final fest o be in a few months… and that a splat4 will be teased for the next Nintendo console…

Basically I feel like it’s over already 😢 especially with the repeating catalog items and lack of major changes in the splatoon 3 updates. (No game mode updates or unique weapons- new kits are basically just different subs & specials)

One thing I can really respect about Lies of P as a soulslike is how it's obviously focusing on telling a story. You don't HAVE to comb through obscure item descriptions to get an idea of what's going on.

So shout-out to LoP for never once making me ask myself, "why am I a fucking squid?" Because as much as I love Bloodborne there should never be an instance where you turn into a baby squid at the end of a video game

So friday will be in the lead on friday, Saturday on Saturday, and then team sunday will steal the victory sunday if players are playing most on the day of the week for their team, right? The winner will be the final team in chronological order if they fight the most battles on the final day.

What’s the point of a days of the week splatfest taking place those days of the week?!

I wouldn’t hate this theme as much if it were like mon-wends so that there isn’t an advantage for the team of the day.
