I gotta start carrying some sugar cubes or a little tiny bottle of honey or something.
We were having tea outside and a yellow jacket came over and starting buzzing all over us. Since we had some honey, I put a little drop to one side and she just instantly chiller out. She did some little zoomies around the drop then settled in to have some, and popped by a few more times to grab more. Left my wife and I completely alone. I have never seen an insect go from investigation buzzing and circling to fully cool like that.
100% recommend this, don't forget bugs are friends.

Joe the Plumber is the most archetypal of all the Undecided Voters that pop up every cycle bc his question was about how Obama's taxes would hurt his small business. Then it came out he was worrying the taxes might hurt a small business he might hypothetically buy in the future. Then it came out that he wasn't technically a licensed plumber. Is there anything more American than making all political decisions off fears socialism will destroy your company that you don't own and aren't qualified to work for

it's always quietly very funny to me when people look at Tolkien and go "old white guy? and he was catholic!? welp obviously he was a generic conservative dope lmao, imagine the pearl-clutching if he saw us getting our grubby deranged woke fandom hands all over his stuff" like
even if you don't take the time to learn anything about his life and friendships, research his history interacting with publishers and the public, read any of the letters, or dig into his own area of study,
his actual writing is still right there.

You either die a hero, or you live long enough to hear discourse on how you were just a problematic fav.

Not relevant to anything but how come whenever someone gets a silver bullet to kill a werewolf or whatever the shell is silver too. Do they know that part gets ejected or is it some kind of scam
