i believe you can always get back to yourself. you can always soften into being again. no matter how long you might be stuck in a pattern of unhappiness, of being jaded, of feeling guarded from the world in some way. there is always a path back. give yourself a chance to find it.

I want to go on a road trip so badly. Just me, some friends, driving to nowhere in particular and stopping wherever we want to. I was watching a vlog yesterday that was just two girls going on a short little road trip and they were stopping at whatever interesting place they saw and it made me yearn. I just want to be able to go have fun and live life to the fullest. Why does everything have to be so complicated and expensive? It’s exhausting.

The ground is hard and compacted, with no dust to blow around or mud to sink into. It is getting harder to breathe, although it is so dark you cannot see if anything is polluting the air. Only glowing red lights, piercing through the blackness like lasers, guide you. The feeling that something is following you is persistent, and you have given up trying to look over your shoulder.
