Arthur stands in solitary splendor, his eyes shimmering with ethereal brilliance. In this suspended moment, the ticking of clocks ceases, and life's chaotic frenzy is tamed into a tranquil tableau. Time, a force that governs all, succumbs to his supernatural command.
The Queen of Spades, the guardian of temporal equilibrium, serves as a reminder of the boundless wonders and limitless possibilities that dwell within the realm of magic.

Arthur gestures his hand above the tomb glowing before him, reaching inside the blue fire as if conjuring something from within. Eyes turning to address the knight in the room.
"Time, an elusive companion, does not flee from our grasp, but rather beckons us to shape its essence. It is within our hands to carve our own path, to mold moments into cherished memories, and to fashion our destiny. As the clock ticks, let us seize the hours and weave our dreams into reality, for it is not time that eludes us, but our own resolve to embrace its infinite potential.”
The Queen stretches his hand out from the fire and towards the knight, cradled gently within is a clock - shaped in the fashion of a Spade. The hands paused at certain numbers, twitching back and forth trying to push onward as time ever does.
“Take its potential into your own hands my Knight. Find the answers you seek.”

It can be said all of the Kings deeds can be read on their suit cards: who they have befriended, who dislikes them, and who they have harmed. The darker the color, the friendlier they are to each other.
A King’s downfall hasn’t been seen in centuries, but the recent King of Spades was by far the worst.
King Alfred owed a debt he could never repay and the Jokers came collecting his dues.”

7 of Spades: “It was said you could see the storm raging in the Kings eyes, I don’t know how the Queen survived for so long…”

3 of Spades: “All citizens of the Kingdom now fear rain and thunderstorms. The Queen most of all, it brings back to many memories. A natural storm sounds just like a unnatural rage filled one.”

(The King in all his glory, and some fun information about him. Some extra notes for those curious about this AU Cardverse:
1. The King attacked the Jack when he was first crowned.
2. The King attempted to kill the Ace of Spades at the end of war when he was escorting the remaining citizens into Diamond and Heart territories.
3. The King killed the Queen as they were the last to escape the kingdom. The Queen stayed so all of his people could escape. It was by the magic of Luck the King of Clubs could save the queen.
4. No one knows what happened to the 6 of Spades besides Gilbert the Joker.
But, we will see all of this play out - as we go down memory lane.)

I think I remember a past post showing Alfred and Matthew in the Clubs kingdom as kids? If I'm remembering that correctly, did Arthur also live in another kingdom as a kid?

King Alfred and Ace Matthew were born into a farming family within the Kingdom of Clubs during the rule of King Ivan when he was young.
Queen Arthur is not Kingdom Marked, meaning he was not born anywhere in the 8 Kingdoms. A mystery unsolved to this day, due to the only other people not Kingdom Marked are the Jokers - since they have no ties to any particular nation.
