My .pet from my new lion base! I gave him a Russian Blue personality, so he has such a soft meow. His name is Mod. and I'm so excited to show him off! :) His spots grow out and his mane grows in as he ages, but his sharp teeth and claws (as any cat owner knows) are with him for life!

Buck plushie for Petz 4 is up for downloads!! If there's any issues let me know! I'd put this on my Petz blog, but it is also Toontown related so it goes here and I don't care. I'd use a regular Petz pet to show it off, but instead have my Sweet hexie.
I plan on making more Toontown related mods - my next plan is to turn throw gags into treats!! :] I'm also working on a Cat Graham... Since months ago, but shh...

FRIENDZOO IS NOW LIVE (for everyone and not just my personal communities)!
behold! the world's first total conversion mod for Petz 4 is here!
petz 4 has been completely decked out and modified to look like a new game, specifically an in-universe "pet sim" (but shhh, the pets are alive...) for our worldbuild, morbit. this conversion would not be possible without the help of gyiyg @yourselfcola and queenie @phantasmagoria petz, along with many other people credited across the website.
but not only is FZ a huge set of mods...it's a forum roleplay as well! there's more on the site, so go take a look!
i'll post more stuff under the cut, but a quick word- while everything on the site is all ages rated, the roleplay itself is 18+ due to being hosted on our forums. please respect this boundary for yourself and our team- but feel free to download any of the cute petz stuff for yourself!
friendzoo's content is downloadable both individually and as a separate install of petz, so you can pick and choose what you want to play with. it's most recommended to get the pre-install if you're doing the RP, considering it'll help you get as much of the experience while not interfering with your standard petz game.
in the friendzoo base game, there are:
21 breedfiles
7 playscene replacements (with day + night cycles for EZLoader!)
190 clothing items (with 300 more available on the website!)
321 playpen background wallpapers
135 toyz
2845 external textures meant for easy modding in the FZ palette (and a lot more on the site!)
and more will be provided over time in the form of regular updates! there are roleplay guides and lots of helpful links on the site itself, so have a good time exploring friendzoo!

as promised- clangen hexing challenge, year 2!
it's actually been a Good Bit since i've run year 2 so i'll be honest this won't be a story heavy update, namely because i just can't fucking remember most of it. BUT
year 2 was a big expansion year for the haunt clowder, though not as bad as the next year's going to be...as you can see we've only lost one cat, and gained a Lot more. this challenge is definitely not for the faint of heart- while using textures for markings makes making the individual hexes relatively easy peasy, it requires a lot of endurance and tolerance for tedium of making cat after cat after cat. still, it's been super rewarding and i will be doing a writeup once we get to the point where we can't manage it anymore! (which, considering how year 3 went...we'll see)
under the cut, more spotlights on the new cats- and going over our one fatality...
rip in peace marigold...he lived a very long life and sadly passed of infected wounds, but he did a great job as the clowder's medic. he was one of the clowder founders, and still watches from the afterlife, worrying his head off over whether the clowder will live a long life. goodnight sweet prince!
okay, time to get into the one cat that needed edits- lotus got injured THREE TIMES and got some pretty gnarly scars, including two on the chest and one on the ass. the ass scar is particularly nasty, seeing as flighty made him fight a fucking dog for no reason. ever since then, lotus has been thirsting for revenge...and we are encouraging it.
new cat time: ben! ben lived as a pet for most of her life, and joined up with the clowder by choice. she's a fantastic teacher and very playful.
brush was previously a loner, and seems to be settling into clowder life nicely. she did, however, get stung by a bee enough to scar her fucking foot. people kind of make fun of her after that. she had two kittens this year (with someone unknown!), and perhaps more in year 3... she's also sneaky!
...not sneaky enough for avoiding bees, though
leif was unhappy in his old clowder and joined up with ours, but will he find peace here? we'll see! he's also labeled sneaky.
lishang is possibly our favorite new cat of the year two bunch, but did come with an event that makes us Way too sad- namely cats being abandoned by their owners. lishang was abandoned for being sick, which breaks our fucking heart, and since joining up, he's been extremely helpful. he even coached eagle! (later to come)
torrent was a kit at the start of the year, but is all grown up now. he was a half-clowder kid with speckles being the parent with...custody? cat custody. he's a little childish, but an excellent speaker.
shelly was also a kit at the start of the year, one of the orphans found in the dangerous tides with her deceased parent, quiver. unfortunately, after being coached by lotus, shelly became kind of abrasive and hard to be around...she was also scarred by an eagle as a kitten!
chomp was another kitten from the same litter as shelly, and it's unknown where they got that big ass scar from. they're a calm cat though, and do their best to help out.
lastly, we've got eagle, the last of quiver's orphaned kitten trio. she is a transfem (! first one with that gender rolled, that's fun) cat with a lot of charisma, and also has a strong connection to those lost along the way. lishang's coaching helped make her a strong and sociable cat, even if they don't talk much these days.

New Toy and Clothes Closets are in FriendZoo now. Wow with me typing that's a lot of capital letters. Anyway, they're in, thanks to Queenie's wonderful art -> scene overwrite conversion work. They work fantastic and have (very lightly) animated buttons.
Clothes are also almost entirely done, just missing one set of addball items. Once those are done we might do a showcase of everything that went into the game, but not sure? Might just be best to wait for the website's release, especially since changes might happen before launch. Toyz are still in the works, but are coming along at a steady clip. Playscenes are our system's main focus for now and we are not super thrilled about it due to our lack of confidence in our background work, but they're coming along pretty good.
