Honestly, to me it is inconceivable how the Haikyuu anime series has been treated.
Haikyuu has been one of the most watched sports anime ever, not only in Japan, but also throughout the rest of the world.
To me it is absolutely nonsensical that a decision is made to stop a hugely successful anime series practically halfway through the events being told in the manga.
The anime stops exactly before the match with the Nekoma team and that match is exactly the match discussed in the latest Haikyuu movie released in theaters.
But guys, there’s more!
That match is not the final act of the manga!
The manga after that match goes on!
And believe me, what is told in the post-match manga against Nekoma, is something that absolutely deserves to be transposed into an anime and be told!
I do not understand, really, I will never understand, why it was decided to destroy this little gem that was so successful, in this absolutely nonsensical way.
Sorry for my english But I hope you have understood my point.
"You are my loved one, Harry," said Bridgens. "The only man or woman or child left in the world who cares whether I am alive or dead, much less what I may have thought before I fell or where my bones will lie."
Peglar, still angry, felt his heart pounding inside his chest. "You're going to outlive me, John."
"Oh, at my age, and with my infirmities and proclivities toward illness, I hardly think..."
"You're going to outlive me, John," grated Peglar. He shocked himself by the intensity of his voice and Bridgens blinked and fell silent. Peglar took the older man's wrist. "Promise me you'll do one thing for me, John."
"Of course." There was none of the usual banter or irony in Bridgens' voice.
