potentially unpopular opinion but I genuinely prefer swarm tour/reunion tour pics of Gerard where his age kinda shows like don't get me wrong it's amazing to see pics of him where he literally looks the exact same as when he did 20 odd years ago but the ones where u can see signs of ageing just genuinely have my heart like

idk I also think they one edited pic of nurse Gerard should stop circulating bc for so long I thought it was real but it was EDITED to make them a) look younger (smoothing and wrinkles etc) and b) more feminine which isn't a problem in itself but when ppl were using it to justify their "Gerard is a trans woman" thing (which is stupid btw Gerard has said that he's unlabelled FOR A REASON and while they do use any pronouns he prefers he/they argue w the wall)

I love the difference between FOB fans and MCR fans because like.
if you started out with MCR or are mainly in the MCR fandom everyone shortens long titles of songs and albums to one or two words. examples: I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love is often shortened down to just "Bullets" and You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison is often shortened down to just "Prison" or "Guys Like Us In Prison" if ur extra.
but on the other hand if you started out with or are mainly in the FOB fandom then you turn almost everything INTO INCREASINGLY LONG ACRONYMS. examples: So Much (For) Stardust is often turned into "smfsd" or "smsd" or "smfs" and From Under The Cork Tree is often turned into "futct". of course I see exceptions to this often in the form of their songs such as Sophomore Slump Or Come Back Of The Year being shortened to just "Sophomore Slump" and A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me shortened to "Sixteen Candles" or "A Little Less Sixteen Candles" in some cases
of course not everyone uses these, some people do just put the whole name of the album or song they are talking about to cause less confusion but I do see a lot of shortening and acronymity. there is no real point to this post I just thought it was neat to point it out because in some ways it sort of is like a secret code for stuff, I know I get confused by the use to acronyms a lot so it must be confusing to new or casual fans to hear shortening of titles and acronyms from the fanbase
