One of my favorite videos from Unus Annus, Hiding Our Sins from Amy’s Holy Peepers. It made me laugh so much & was a banger of a video. I am happy to say I was there & will miss all the awesome videos these guys made.

November is the time for eating and the start for new traditions! I am happy to say that this month’s book is Persona 4. This book starts out with murders happening all over the city, while a rumor called the midnight channel goes around the local high school. Curious about it, Daisuke Namikawa and the main cast of the Persona 4 series starts to investigate these mysterious deaths. Soon, they find themselves sucked into TVs and helping an odd character named Teddie catch the killer, while trying to survive their own alter-egos (known as Shadows) in this crazy place! This is also an anime as well as a few games. So if books aren’t for you I would still recommend any of the media and will the links to them below!

October, Halloween time! The time for spooky scary games, movies and stories! While I’m a fan of these at times, I went a different route. Instead of going scary, serious, and action, this one is more of a comedy romance. This month’s book is My Monster Secret “Actually I Am ”. This is also an anime so I will put a link for the trailer down below. You can also find the anime on Cruchyroll. This book first starts out as a ‘boy likes girl’ slice of life story but when Asahi goes to tell his feelings to the girl of his dreams Youko, he figures out she is not at all as normal as she seems. She is a vampire! Now Asahi is in charge of keeping Youko’s biggest secret, the only problem being that Asahi is the worst liar and secret keeper in school!

“Everyone knows Asahi is the worst liar in school - he’s so painfully transparent that his childhood frenemy has developed gossip tabloids around his best kept secrets. When Asahi falls in love with the enigmatic Shiragami Youko from his class, he decides to confess to her before she, and everyone else, can read his feelings like an open book. September! The start of the fall and the start of spooky times! For September I pick the book One Punch Man. Now many of you probably know about One Punch but for the few that don’t here we go! For the main character Saitama, life is pretty boring, fighting giant monsters and evildoers, finishing them off with one punch. Even though he has all that power, he goes through life just skating by, will the occasional saving the day from villains. With some information from his pupil, Genos, he’s on his way to becoming a great hero, but only for fun!

“Nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression to his bald head to his unimpressive physique. However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem - he just can’t find an opponent strong enough to take on! Every time a promising villain appears, he beats the snot out of them in one punch! Can Saitama finally find an opponent who can go toe-to-toe with him and give his life some meaning? Or is he doomed to a life of super-powered boredom?”

August! A time to start back to school, and back into the swing of things. that includes stress from class, work, and the upcoming holidays. But instead of stressing, I like to sit down and read demented story. So for this month, my book of the month is another manga, Magical Girl Apocalypse! Now at first I was a bit skeptical of this series, but the farther I got, the more the story unraveled. The story-line isn’t the best, but if your looking for something different, it’s definitely a story to try out. In the beginning, it seems like the typical slice of life, but it soon goes horribly wrong. Soon magical girls appear from a hole in the sky and start killing the citizens of Japan, while Kii Kogami and other survivors try to fight off the zombie-like people and the magical girls causing it all, and find out what and who is causing the apocalypse. As the story progresses, you will find twists and turns and complete 180s; so be prepared! Also a warning for those of you who are a little younger, this story can be very disturbing at times and has strong language, only recommended to 16+.

July is a little late but better late than never. July’s book of the month has to be Overlord. This book takes place in the near future, where video games take a new look on immersion, going into the lights of something called DMMO-RPG (Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game). The game this book focuses on is such one called Yggdrasil. The player that goes by the name Momonga decides to be logged on during the game’s final hours before shutting down,but when it does, he has been forced into the fantasy world,unable to connect to anyone else in the guild. With the use of the NPCs at his disposal in this new world, he attempts to find answers of where he is, and what to do next.

“What do you do when your favorite game shuts down? Momonga decided to stay logged in right up until the very end. But when the servers go dark,he finds himself trasported into the game world - and he’s been transformed into his skeletal avatar, awesome magic powers included! Sorry for keeping you waiting! Since I missed last month I will list two books to make up for it.

My first book is Ancient Magus’ Bride. This book is about a young girl named Chise, learns that she can connect with the world of magic. After being bought by a mage named Elias, her world is completely changed. Now training underneath the hand of Elias, she finds the good and bad about the world of magic. For someone that likes fantasy, with a side of romance, and comedy this is a good series I highly recommend.

"Her name is Chise Hatori, a penniless orphan troubled by visions. Sold as a slave to an inhuman mage, she is about to begin a strange new life, filled with magic,fairies, and other beings of fantastical nature."

My second book is Tokyo Ghoul. The main character, Ken Kaneki lived a life just like us, hanging out with friends, reading books, and having crushes. But all that changes when he is attacked by a ghoul. Bleeding to death, the ghoul that attacked Ken is killed in a freak accident. With the ghoul being pronounced dead at the scene, and Ken being rushed to the hospital, the doctor makes a life-changing decision, to put the organs of the ghoul inside the human. Now Ken is relearning how to live his life, as a ghoul,only able to stomach the taste of human flesh. knowing both sides of the battle his morality and everything he knows is ripped apart at the seams. for someone who likes stories with action, this would be a good series to look into.

"Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-ghoul hybrid. trapped between two worlds, he must survive ghoul turf wars, learn more about ghoul society, and master his new powers."

Starting a new thing! A book of the month! For big readers like me! All types of books for this recommendation! I will leave some information about the book, & a synopsis. My book for this month is A Monster Calls. For anyone going though a hard time with a sick family member, this can help. Having a good story & good illustration throughout the book, it has won both a Carnegie Medal for literature & a Kate Greenaway Medal for illustration. The artwork fits well along the story, portraying the characters emotions along with the stories of the monsters. Conor is an average kid except that his mother has cancer. Knowing this he starts to have nightmares, & one night he meets a monster, but not the one he expects. This monster is here to tell Conor stories, but also to find the truth hiding in this devastating issue in Conor's life.

"The monster showed up after midnight. As they do. But it isn't the monster Conor's been expecting, the one from the nightmare he's had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments, the one with the darkness and the wind and the screaming. . . . All of the Type Pokeballs, Type Key Stones and Type Symbols are finally finished, so here are all my different Pokemon Type Pendants together in one big post! :D

Making these since the Dragon type symbol I had a little trouble deciding on the color. All the other pokemon types have been pretty constant in their color representation, but Dragon type has been all over the place with blue+red in older games, purple in newer games, orange in the TCG and a different color still on Diantha’s floor. In the end I decided to go with the TCG color, since most people think of Dragonite when they think of Dragon type. :)
