Tessa being happy is so amazing to me, like after losing her parents tragically, and being in love with a guy that treated her like crap and being in love with another guy who was dying, not to mention the evil genius that wanted to marry and exploit her or the fact that her brother was literally psychotic. And that's just part one, add in the deaths of her husband, children, and grandchildren, while the one person she still has calcifies into a traditional silent brother... It's like how fucking courageous and strong she is to get to a point where she can be happy
