Wait, wait. How long has this broadcast been going on? I've been reviewing the previous messages, but I can't get a good estimate on time. Has it been hours? Days? Weeks? Sorry Tails, I'm just nervous since I'm not sure how long you've been alone....

Be honest, Tails. When was the last time someone came to check on you in person? When was the last time you rested or took care of yourself? Everyone, including me, is in a sticky situation, but besides in the initial recording, I don't see anyone with you... at least I have a few of my folks with me. It's important to stay focused, but you can't do that without-*cuts out*

Tails:... It's a little hard to balance the "self-care" stuff and "keep-myself-aware-and-alert" without anyone around. But I'm keeping it to- uh.. hello? Are you still there? Ugh stupid transmitter!

Tails… have you considered that… Sonic and/or knuckles may not be coming back? If they were, they would have their communicator, right…?

I saw one of those things outside today, shambling around with grotesque limbs. But… it didn’t attempt anything to break in. Instead it knocked on the door. It asked me to go outside, that my friends and family were waiting for me, that they missed me. I’m not sure who to trust anymore. Did it even say that? Am I going crazy?

Tails:….. sonic and knuckles are fine… I have to believe it…..

As for the verbal infected…

Tails: That’s a little more concerning… but this can be good news! Maybe that means there’s still a way to bring back the infected!

Tails: Are you serious?! HA! That guy is crazy ! I was wondering how I'd gotten this radio a week ago. gave me enough time to hook it up to my camera and send out this broadcast!

Tails:... Tails: I really hope he stays safe after traveling to so so many places and people that fast.... i should probably disinfect this radio...

It is possible that Eggman is not behind it. The animal probably ended up infected during while the robot was being piloted. That means that there's a possibility that the animal came across the infection itself. If that's true, that means something out there created the infection.

Tails: I suppose that is a very plausible theory... but given his track record it's hard for me to believe that.

Hey there, my name is Itchy the Ibex. What locations have the least danger. I know I can't avoid it 24/7, but are there any zones that are less zombie infected?

Tails: Hey Itchy! At the moment I can't confirm which place is safest because i haven't been out of my zone for a while but from my scans and reviewing broadcasts I'd stay away from any densely populated areas like the city or even close knit villages.

Hey...don't blame yourself. There was no way you could have known. You guys are normally running around, busting open robots and there's always...ALWAYS been a little animal inside instead of whatever was inside. You had no reason to check inside before...there were no signs that this time was different. What you described sounded like your average "Eggman attempts to take over." You had no reason to think that victory was any different than normal. It's ok...

Also I'm assuming....an infected claimed out of the wreckage of the bots? If so noone could have seen that coming. I mean those robots don't show you who's inside them...so how could you have known?

Tails:....it looked infected but..... Eggman has done some terrible things in the past...but......it felt so.. wrong.... it was gross... its hard to even imagine that even he would do something like that

Tails: I'm alone right now. I swear sonic should be back soon and once he is we'll be on our way to looking for everyone else and finding the source of this outbreak.

Any chance the emeralds could help out the situation? Or are those currently too far gone of a hope to try and go for at the given moment

Tails: that would actually be pretty smart… but currently no one actually knows where all of the emeralds are.

They have a sorta mystical repellent as a sort of regulator, since chaos energy is powerful and unpredictable, the emeralds being separated keeps things balanced unless they have a vessel to channel through like sonic.

But looking for the chaos emeralds to use to heal is not a bad thought… hmm

Do you think Dr. Eggman caused this? He’s caused a zombie apocalypse before and lost control of the situation that time too. He also has a habit of repeating mistakes.

Tails: That would explain a lot, it wouldn’t be the first time he’s made a dangerous infection that puts the fate of the world at stake. You’d think he’d learn his lesson

How does the infection affect people who can fly? Does that mean there is flying infected???

Tails: Hypothetically, yes. I haven't seen any because I've been inside for most of the time recently but I haven't found any simulations that indicate that avian or any winged mobians are immune. Granted, we don't even know what is causing this so its hard for me to pinpoint what or how this virus affects the body other than what is physically observable.
