Songfell anniversary post, pt 3
Last installment of pics I grabbed from posts off this Tumblr since I started it four years ago. I have been unbelievably spoiled by every single one of you, and if I didn't put something here, it was out of my negligence, not any fault of yours.

Nuvie's other Frisk is frigging fantastic. I took embarrassingly long to notice the Delta Rune designs on the cover. I was focusing on her...lots of things, but I'm allowed to say "boobs" on my own blog. Anyway, picking back up chronologically:

Songfell anniversary post, pt 1
Eyyy so four years ago today, I posted the first three chapters of my story on AO3, having seen an unfinished comic and gotten permission from the artist to write a fic using her premise. This here is the first piece of Songfell art ever, commission from the OG comic creator, @lostmypotatoes 👌
So! I am not posting any new content for the moment. My mom has been having health problems, including me having to help take her to the ER (she's fine, just needs to stay in bed for a while), which delays actual writings a bit. What I am doing is reposting art from four years of Tumblr! C'mon down memory lane, wheeeeee
(Part 2, Part 3)
This is going to be in VERY VERY approximate chronological order as it depicts stuff in the story. Stuff with no set place in the story will be guesstimated because I have that power ah ha ha ha ha
Disclaimer: I've pulled all of these from posts or reblogs made by this specific blog. If I didn't see or repost any Songfell art you've done, especially for the videos, I did not leave it out on purpose. I threw in exactly one image from Discord for the sake of completing a set, but that was it.
In cases of multiple...okay it's just the fork scene that has multiple iterations because everyone liked it, but besides the opening one here (which is still my AO3 pfp!), the one that was the first piece of non-commissioned art I ever got will be first. Enjoy!

Surprise, it's Frisk's second dress from the big ol' party in the Underground, commissioned from the one and only @melikitinas (yes, the same Melikas who did the stunning Sooner or Later comics). Anniversary
Tumblr says I started this thing four years and a day or two ago. I did it purely to bug @lostmypotatoes after I saw a dub of one of her comics, and she was kind enough to tell me about AO3, and then a lot of stuff happened.
I don't know why I'm making this post. I have nothing new to say. I just scrolled through some of my favorite arts and I landed on this one. The next video has been nearly done for over a year now, but I was busy and every attempt to get Sans' poses drawn has failed. Anyone with some time on their hands who's willing to brave a possible curse in exchange for commission $$, hmu

I love your AU, I used to watch a lot of undertale comic dubs before I actually watched a playthrough of Undertale and cried during True Pacifist (I do not have the means to acquire the game for now, but hope I can get the switch version soon)

Hello! Thanks for your ask (I don't know how to throw in your second one about it being Witchfell in one post. Computer is hard). I too cried during True Pacifist, and came across this witchy incarnation of Frisk and giant Sans through a comic dub. The artist was @lostmypotatoes and I will be eternally thankful that she drew it <3
As for what gender the characters are, I'mma be real for a minute: I'm nearly 40 years old, and when I first got on the Internet 20 years ago, the idea of asking someone their pronouns would have been bizarre and insulting--you were a guy or a girl, full stop. But nowadays, having made so many non-cisgender friends and heard their experiences, I aim to be the cringy oversupportive aunt who nods earnestly at whatever you tell me about your identity and does my best to understand it (unless it turns out you define yourself by hurting or degrading other people, in which case you can fuck right off).
To my knowledge and recollection, Frisk, Chara and Kris are canonically nonbinary, using "they/them" pronouns. I don't mind AUs or headcanons that assign them a gender--I obviously made my Frisk and Chara female, and used Kris as a male name. But if we're talking about the canon characters, they're nonbinary, so I try to stick to it. They're obviously not real people who can feel invalidated by incorrect pronouns, but in my experience, the way we talk about fake people is both a cause and effect of how we talk about real people. It's just a good habit in general.
(For the record, as an overall character, Kris gives me the creeps, which I think is what Toby Fox is going for. But I definitely see where they can give a chill impression, too.) Thanks again! :D

Opening commissions
Hey, all. No, I'm not @nuvex opening art comms, just using her pretty picture to get attention. Mwa ha ha
Anyway. I've had a couple of things pop up irl and need a bit of a boost, anywhere from $150-200. I am now open for commissions. Pricing is $10 for up to 500 words, $25 for up to 1,000, and $50 for up to 3,000. $5 extra for NSFW.
"Hey, wait!" you cry out as a nation, but very politely, because you're all awesome people. "What about the smutraiser?? That was almost two years and one marriage ago, and you've only done 5,000-ish words! You still owe us 5,020, and you're doing this again?"
I do indeed. BUT
I'm a couple revisions away from posting about 2,500 to the Extras. That's not 5,020, no. But it's a start!
I should wait till I've caught up entirely, yes. However, moving is hella expensive, so I'm still trying to fill that hole, especially before rent comes due. (At least it's $400 cheaper than it used to be.) My ex would like nothing better than to be able to help, but he's unable to for various reasons he's still working on, and I'm leaning on our families for too many other things.
On what I choose to see as a hopeful note, one of said things is pretty literally my last hope of ever functioning as a grownup: several new ADHD medications have been approved since I ran out of every single available one to try (each either did nothing, gave me horrible mood swings, or sent me to urgent care bc my heartrate was over 160 bpm). At least one of these new meds is a nonstimulant, and I hope to Christ I'll find something that might help, because I remain unemployable.
Yeah, all kidding aside, my memory and time-blindness have gotten so bad that I'm pretty frightened. As many of you are painfully aware, getting on disability for nonquantifiable mental illness is an absolute joke. ("You can sit at a computer! You can type! You have all your limbs! Support your damn self" are not people's exact words, but pretty close. Don't get me started on people for whom none of that is true and they still can't qualify.)
I'm still writing actual Songfell, and have almost all the material for the next video, including singing :) But yeah, in addition to the amazing ongoing and other support I've received to stay afloat (my biggest supporter remains a godsend and is not devalued whatsoever by this), I've just got another wave of crap to deal with. My Ko-fi is right here; I would recommend my Patreon, but not till I un-neglect it. I'll cross my fingers, get medicated and do my best. Thanks, guys <3
