my favorite scene in fruits basket is when Yuki’s curse breaks. It literally sends chills up my sign and makes me bawl my eyes out. “you’re the last one”, all of the bonds fading around him, it’s so deeply tied to yuki not only because of the original zodiac story of the rat being first but also because he was trapped in that room. in that curse for so long. the symbolism of him being surrounded by the curse and the cords breaking around him as god and the other animals leave. idk man, it gets me every time.

little life update!!

a theatre in my hometown is putting on the musical cinderella and i got cinderella!! i’m very excited to play this part, but it made me think of the cinderella-ish play in fruits basket ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
