Doing some casual research and looking for information on the actual mechanics of HRT as part of it. How are different methods of HRT accepted into the body, what systems it interacts with amd the cascading effects from there, that kind of stuff. Problem is, any research into anything trans related is absolutely fucking inundated with transphobic garbage. Like "HRT in transwomen has no noticeable effect on muscle deterioration, fat redistribution, or breast tissue growth" crap that I can literally look straight down for proof that it's full of shit, that only exists so terfs can pretend to have an ounce of validity.

Hello, little internet miscreants! I am currently working on a side project collecting and looking at the idea of intercourse as a social construct and the shear varity of what can classify as sex outside of the bounds of strictly penatrative sex with the intention of reproduction, or put simply, "What counts as sex for the sake of fun?" and who better to ask for examples than the little deviants on god's favorite hellsite?

Curious that i havent seen any ships in 40k, *especially* from the admech, that have neopronouns.
The admech in general seem like they'd be a breeding ground of genderfuckery since they're already kinda nonbinary rep in my own headcanons, given that they leave behind the biological in favor of the machine, part of that being the gender binary and gender in general.
I feel like i remember something from some book where a techpriest says something along the lines of "i use he/him pronouns to make biologicals more comfortable" but I might be remembering wrong.
Anyways yeah, surprised there arent any Xe/Xer ships or something.
Spoilers for Priests of Mars under the cut
In Priests of Mars, one of the characters (i cant remember his name) names an Ark Mechanicus the "Speranza" which is a beautiful name. Later on, he dives into the machine spirit of the Speranza, an Ark Mechanicus, and nearly gets lost in its personality. Like, it's basically canonical if not canon that machine spirit=ai of varying intelligence and ability, so this ships is *alive* in some form. I wish he had come out of the ships consciousness with new pronouns for Speranza that Speranza had told him. Would have been neat.

Trans People, The Kit-Bashed Human
As a nerdy transfemme, I've recently been getting into both making and wearing more jewelry as a mixture of just exploration and gender affirmation. Now, as a nerd, and someone passionate about custom making my own stuff, this leads to taking leftovers from my hobbies and turning them into jewelry, so, When I last visited my parents, I loudly exclaimed "Oooo, my box of body parts is at your house!" I was talking about some of the random leftovers from when I built my tyranid army, and had the idea of attatching a genestealer head to an earring (it turned out amazingly and I deeply love it,)
For some reason, talking about my box of leftover body parts made my dad come of up with the joke that trans people were just kit-bashed humans, saying it with the warning that I was not to get mad surrounding such a weird and potentially offensive sounding idea.
My reaction was of utter excitement at such an odd phrase that I immediately identified with. I was not fully sure why, but after quite some time has passed, here is my guess as to why I love this term.
Kitbashing refers to taking parts of multiple pieces of models of any kind. From what I have seen while inside the 40k fandom, this allows saving money because buying new sets are god-damned expensive. It can also lend to more creativity like full-blown proxying models.
Now where I feel this truly sits in the realm of transness is the act of rebelling from the expectation of how you are to appear and looking at something and saying " ya, this is something else and will be treated as such because that is the desire."
The first is quite simple. You are taking parts from what you are given and putting what you like together then adding pieces to make it more in line with what you want. much like changing wardrobe, taking hormones and cosmetic surgeries allowing you to take what you like and mix it with what better suits you.
The second point is that letting something be treated as what it does not appear to be is closer to the experience of someone like myself, who does not really have any intentions of passing, and thus it is the cultural act of my friends and family perceiving me as a woman that makes me a woman. My physical presentation isn't as important as my social one.
As I mentioned earlier, the act of kitbashing is an act of rebellion. You are refusing to buy more models and instead take what you have and create a new model much like how trans people reject following the hegemony of binary cishet culture to create something unique.

"I'm alive purely by the universe is shit at pest control" is honestly just an excellent way to explain absurdism.
My current plan to recover from my mental and emotional existence is to just go so deep into being insane that I'll come out sane on the other side. Being a chronic people pleaser plagued with impostor syndrome stretched me too thin, and that leash simply snapped and I am now a completely untethered, unapologetic vermin.
Fuck having impostor syndrome, if I'm not entitled to be here they should've barred the doors better. If I'm doing everything wrong because of imaginary rules that nobody told me about, that's their problem, you should have made your confusing system more idiot-proof.
I'm not here to please everyone and do everything right. I'm here to make bad art, chew on furniture, make people laugh, cook awful food and look at pretty landscapes, and piss off the people who don't want me to exist. If I have an unseen infinite debt somewhere that I can never pay back, I'm going to keep running that tab until I die. I'm alive purely because the universe is shit at pest control.
