he’s so handsome when he works

Ok hear me out. I think Steve adores hot baths because they’re like. The absolute opposite of the icy arctic waters he spent 70-odd years in. And I think tony never showers for longer than it takes him to get clean before getting straight out again. And I think somewhere down the line of them dating Steve somehow persuades tony to get in the bath with him, and it’s warm and there’s bubbles and it’s Steve so how the fuck could tony ever say no? So tony does, and it’s kind of completely horrible at first, but then Steve grabs him with soapy hands and pulls him into his chest and says ‘I’ve got you’, and then he starts to wash Tony’s hair, kiss Tony’s neck, and for the first time in like 7 years tony remembers what it’s like to enjoy being submerged.

That’s what I think.

Summary: Hydra’s target is Billionaire Playboy Tony Stark. They send their best agent, Captain Rogers to pose as an undercover bodyguard for Stark. The mission should be simple, but when Steve and Tony grow close, Steve realizes too late that he can’t go through with his mission.

Everytime I see posts like this I get filled with such profound sadness

Cause you know who has the same brainrot as you? The same unhinged feelings as you after you've read the fic? The person who always wants to scream about the fic with you?

I never used to leave comments but since I got into the habit of commenting on everything i enjoy it's been incredible. Especially when the author gets back to me about it and we get to have a discussion of what other ideas they had. One writer replied to my comment with a 5 paragraph essay detailing the Floorplan of the building the characters lived in and it was incredible

Anyways this is all to say that if you find a fic that just makes you want to scream from the rooftops, leave a comment saying that to the author and maybe they will join you and you can scream incoherently together
