We had a soft opening to test the layout, lighting, etc. It mostly works but I want some more lighting on the shop level.
The customers liked the colour scheme though. The yellow and white makes it cheerful, apparently.
I love my refidgerated displays.

A close up of Eliza's new look. I think she looks gorgeous, but then I always have.
And mine. Not sure about the hair yet, but I guess we'll see. Eliza seems to like it though.

So now I dig up things and sell some of them, others I keep.
At lot of the time it's those MySims dolls that were popular when I was a kid, so I sell those. But I've found a few really interesting fossils which I've kept.

He loves frogs, so I made him a frog-themed birthday cake from the LittleBowBub recipe book.
He's growing up so fast!
Maybe his fashion sense is more like mine, but apart from his hair colour, he takes after his mom mostly.

Being back at home is great. I love making breakfast for the family, playing with Jared and snuggled up to Eliza.
In order to keep my customers coming back, I need to keep up with changing tastes and keep rotating recipes so they want to come back for more.

I'd never really understood the term 'Karen' before I started this business, but I do now.
Everything I sold today. I want to have a wide variety of cakes, cookies, pastries and other sweet treats. I think it's going to be very successful. Well, I ran out of products before the sale was over but fortuantely I had time to make a few more, so I could continue. Now, it's time to go home.

Woo! Finally, we have the bones of what will hopefully be a successful bakery. Almost time to head home, but I want to put in the downstairs counters before I leave.

Got all the walls stripped down to the plaster, just have to fix a big hole downstairs. Got rid of the old crappy tiles at last though.
Yet another bake sale, hopefully one of the last ones before I move back home.
Rolling in the cash!

For some reason, people seem to think that Eliza and I don't like each other much.
Nothing could be further from the truth, let me tell you.
Trust me, my wife and I like each other. A lot.

Made enough money to finally upgrade the kitchen area and look at all the counter space. It's also nice and clean here.
Getting a little word of mouth out about the bakery and my cooking skills. Means I have to socialise, but I can deal.

Another day, another bake sale. Gotta make money somehow.
I hate dealing with people. They're so annoying. Bickering constantly over the prices and wanting other options. So annoying. But, it's what pays the bills and gets this place fixed up, so I just gotta suck it up and ignore it.
