Semi Update
//for those who didn’t know a few months ago, I was planning on leaving tumblr.
Well, I keep on meeting interesting peeps along the way which I’m interested in writing with someday. So, I came to a small conclusion.
I will stay here, but my status on Discord will be far more frequently than here. I do ask around old and new peeps if they have a Discord account in order to take our business over there instead.
Plus, I find it easier to keep control of threading and interacting. My messages easily get swallowed up or drowned under an ocean of replies.

It was fate that the King would find himself under a severe contract where he forcibly made a deal with the actual devil; a long time ago, a monarch from his domain, Dream Land, went to spend his taxes on nothing but gambling purposes. There couldn’t have been a worser way than to waste away but the King nonetheless used his lust for money than his brain instead. That was when things went horribly wrong! On a winning streak, the King literally placed a bet on the wrong horse; unbeknownst to him, the very steed skeleton broke into a pile of bones just when it left the starting line. To make matters even worse, due to his lack of reading full and fixed contracts, the monarch ended up unwittingly betting his own soul on the line as well!
Begging to keep his savings and soul on the line, the King made a deal with the Devil about keeping both, mostly his own life. To compensate, the King was instructed to destroy a certain hero that was collecting every contract of the victim’s souls, where he came way too close into besting the head honcho.The monarch agreed and managed to transport his castle directly in front of the Devil’s casino so he could have a go at fighting the cup himself. Currently, he was situated on the top of the rooftops with his staff, spying through his pair of binoculars to attempt to seek out the hero within millions of miles.
“So, Cuphead’s his actual name? Huh! I wonder why they call him that there name, anywho? Dun’ he have a cup for a head, or ain’t he un’ o’ those coffee enthusiasts? That’s like callin’ me Hammer-Head, ain’t it…? Heh, hammer head…”

Anyone knows I commission art with my boi nowadays?
Aced by @mexfan12art who a super awesome and worth a comish, this is an art piece of my H!DDD being thanked by who else but Ness’ mother for protecting her son during Smash Bros. Brawl’s Subspace. To thank him, she rewards him with a giant cake that’s a complete replica of his own castle and a permanent invite to her house.
I mean, really? Did DDD ever get thanked for kinds being the secret hero of Subspace? Without his brooches, Ness and Luigi wouldn’t have been activated and then go from there to save the world. It really goes to show that even the man child majesty has better planning than anyone else.
So, I wanted to do a little homage to at least someone thanking him.
Plus, it’s based on this heartwarming scene from Amphibia; biological family thanking found family/surrogate friends for keeping their offspring safe.

Not a serious update but something to say
//Hello peeps, I do hope that 2023 has been nicer to you so far and that nothing bad will ever occur in your lives. As of summer, my life has changed for the best, where I now work in a toy store and am now prioritising my time on both work and all of the comic cons.
Therefore, my time here has been rather low, even less so than last year.
To those who I owe replies towards and also asked to roleplay, you haven’t been forgotten, but I need to get this off my chest.
By January 2024, I may be leaving tumblr, but at least keeping my account as well. The thing is, I’m tired and I don’t have the same energy as I once had all the way back then, even before when the pandemic started. After when I accepted job offers, I finally understood the word “hiatus” and have been taking one too many of them without any announcements.
That’s on me, I’m afraid to say.
Another fact is that the site does bring back a few bad memories when I bump into users that I once interacted with. I will not be deleting my account but might place an “-archive” at the end of my username.
However, this will not be goodbye. I’m not sure if I ever mentioned this but I’m mainly on discord and have my own roleplaying servers there. Plus, that platform is what I mainly use, more so than Facebook, Twitter, deviantart and this very one, especially.
Anybody who is interested in chatting to me on discord, my PM’s are open.
It’s been quite a run, a Dede-decade, actually. But, the crown will be lowered down in due time. I wish you all a merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays!//

Dedede had to admit that looking back, he recalled Jess growing in height, even to match his own, but this was when he used to visit the very city itself. He only took this as some sort of “growth spurt” and nothing more. His latest visit with Jess fully showed that ageing in the human realm was vastly different than in Dream Land.
Did the King ever have a recent birthday? Does he age at the same time as humans from the other realm?
“Aw, Grace… y’shouldn’t…” he murmured, feeling her hand touch his face. The King felt a whole crater in his system, beginning to take full rupture. The hand maintained its effect, but not to the point of controlling his overall feelings. From Grace’s own words of age beginning to weigh herself down, the King stepped back. From there, tears began to pool up in his eyes, before making their way down his rounded face.
“Nah,… y’ain’t… Y’can’t grow old! Lookit me, how come it’s takin’ a toll on yerself!” the King emphasised by flinging his hands back and forth, herself and himself. “First, Jess came back, taller than whut I am, this here happened…!”
It was clear as crystals that he was emotionally effected by this.
Heartwarming, and breaking, reunions

After reuniting with his surrogate sister, the King then made his next plan to interact with someone else that’s as important; his surrogate mother, Grace. He remembered all the times she helped him adjust to Metro City and his addition to alcohol, so he wanted to reunite with her. After all, found family is as important as biological.
The King made his portal, but neglected a message in advance, mainly because he never got her phone number in that case. Well, there was nothing better than staging a surprise visit, especially when this involved meeting up with someone who was from a different dimension. As the King made his way towards Metro City, he recalled the time where he was almost lost in the winter, had it not been for Jess’ support. Humans who were technically alien towards the very big city, considering that this particular one was raised in a fantastical-styled land, weren’t familiar and could feel like the complete odd one out.
So, with the entire worrisome thought leaving his system, the King decided to meet Grace in the very place where he first Jess; the garden. He made sure to make himself look presentable, before his hand rose up and banged the door a couple of times.
