Virgil stirred slightly as Thomas adjusted the blanket. Thomas waited to see if he would wake up-- carefully just waiting to see, not worrying about it-- but after a moment, he settled again. Good. As always, he could use the sleep.

When Virgil is overtired, he can get stuck in a feedback loop of anxiety. When this happens, he needs someone to snap him out of it, and then to be left alone, or if it's particularly bad, to have someone stay with him and make sure he doesn't get himself started again.

During a video, an argument between Logan and Roman is interrupted by the sound of a snore. Everyone looks over at Virgil, and his eyes are closed and his head is lolling forward. It takes a bit before they realize he's not being snarky-- he legitimately just fell asleep in the middle of filming a video.

Whenever one of the Sides wakes up from a bad nightmare, Virgil is there to comfort them, and he always gets them calmed down quickly. He is good at talking them down from it, but not enough to account for how fast they calm down-- though they never notice the discrepancy-- and afterwards, he's always even more tired than them.
