it'll soon be a year since my stepmom passed away. back then i told myself to live life to the fullest because you never know what will happen.

i feel like i've only gotten worse, depression and self love wise. things have been very shitty and difficult and i still actively want to kill myself. i'm lonely, fat and anxious, and even my dearest hobbies bring me next to no joy because i keep comparing myself to others and i'm never enough.

“This might sting a little.” “Go for it,” Otabek says, still unprepared for the taut bite of pain that starts at the back of his neck and spreads down to his right arm and leg. “Did it hurt?” Yuri asks, peering at him over Otabek’s shoulder. “A bit,” Otabek admits, and Yuri hums. “The insertion shouldn’t hurt,” he comforts him, and Otabek lets out a small laugh. “It doesn’t matter, as long as it works.” “Of course it works, it’s done by me,” Yuri says, placing Otabek’s old computer chip on the bed next to them. He reaches for another chip balanced on Otabek’s knee and starts to fit it into the port in the back of Otabek’s neck. “Of course.” Otabek smiles even though Yuri can’t see it.
