APPEARANCE: He’s a little shorter than the average Altmer, with amber coloured eyes and dark brown hair that’s always kept short. He has a golden hue to his skin from his Altmer blood.
FACTION: Neutral
ROLE/OCCUPATION: Thief/Rogue
WEAPONRY: Dual wields daggers (2 daggers)
PERSONALITY: Gaius isn’t the most subtle of people. Yes, when he’s with a mark, he will use all hi persuasion to get what he wants, but when it comes down to it, and someone pisses him off, he will not hesitate to bluntly call them out for it.
Behind the deception and the blunt demeanour lies a man who has seen too much, and would like for others to not experience the same. He has a kind heart and tries to help those who need it, be it through a bit of coin, a good talk, or by tracking people down for them.
He is very protective of his own belongings - mostly the things he didn’t steal - and of his sister, because he has lost so many things in his life, and he would like to not lose something or someone dear to him again.
IDEOLOGY:
- Dragons kind of freak him out because he knows he has no chance if he were to stand against a dragon.
- Though he has the skills to join them, he refuses to affiliate with the Thieves’ Guild and the Dark Brotherhood due to moral beliefs.
- Gaius, though sometimes questioning the Imperials’ standpoints, is in favour of them compared to the Stormcloaks, who he refers to as ‘shitcloaks’ more often than not.
- He fights to protect himself and his sister, who is the only person he can truly rely on.
BACKGROUND: Born by a chance encounter between his Altmer father and Imperial mother, Gaius and his twin sister were raised in the city of Solitude by their mother. When she became too ill to take care of them, the twins were around ten years old by then, they were sent to live with their father, who was working in Markath at the time.
Their father, though taking them in and ensuring they were safe, never actually seemed to care for the two, and Gaius and his sister were shunned and maltreated by the Altmer who would visit the house. At age 17 the two ran away, being quite done with the way they were treated.
The twins tried to find their mother, but to no avail; best they can tell, she returned to Cyrodiil, but they are not sure if she is even alive at this point.
Gaius since then has stuck to the cities, swindling, conning, and stealing to make a living at first, and later, he started joining adventuring parties, taking jobs from people, but he never goes alone. He shares a house with his sister in Whiterun, but he´s seen all across Skyrim, going wherever he fancies.

Would it be an idea to extend your marketing to beyond Kpop and Jpop? It would be interesting to see a larger variety of characters and FCs in this group.

I just have a bad taste in my mouth about my character because of a falling out I had with a player that was supposed to join this directory with me. HOME: Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, Falkreath Hold, Skyrim
APPEARANCE: Jei-Ei bares very light skin with a faint golden hue. Her ears are pointed upwards and also fairly small in size. Her dark eyes are slightly upward slanted with grey hues. Jei-Ei is considered to be tall among those of Skyrim but is only slightly taller than a common Altmer female. Her hair is long and dark in colour.

ROLE/OCCUPATION: Assassin, alchemist/sorceress, part-time fence
MAGIC: Destruction and Restoration
PERSONALITY: There is little that Jei-Ei is concerned about except the pursuit of new knowledge. She is very curious and eager to learn about new things especially when it comes to the use of magic and the concern of creatures such as dragons (which she finds fascinating). Jei-Ei makes a habit of keeping to herself, not out of any shyness but rather out of a general sense of being aloof. Her arrogance is one of her most prominent traits and is obvious upon first encounters with the woman. Jei-Ei’s self-confidence is very high but again, potentially higher than one should have. Jei-Ei is highly intelligent but instead keeps to herself about such things in an effort to keep herself out of people’s petty business. She does have a tendency to dissociate emotionally from her actions in such a way that after such a long relation to killing that she finds it nothing more than a chore or a hobby (in fact, she ever so slightly enjoys it) and has little of a moral compass. Even with such things, she is fair and doesn’t hesitate to speak up against people’s maltreatment, unless they deserved it of course.
IDEOLOGY:
◦ While preferring not to go out of her way to be involved with such politics, Jei-Ei has a strong preference leaning towards the Imperial Legion as opposed to the Stormcloaks. Jei-Ei personally believes the Stormcloaks to be short-sighted in their endevors in war, truly believing that despite the Empire being in the pockets of the Thalmor (which she believes they obviously do not want to be) the only way for a positive outcome is for a united Tamriel to stand. Jei-Ei refuses to be convinced that the Stormcloaks can form a cohesive empire. Her dislike for Ulfric Stormcloak’s ways is also a reason why she chooses her side so strongly. Through word of mouth, she thinks him to be in the fight for the throne and the power and not for the liberation of the people of Skyrim; no matter how many tell her “Skyrim belongs to the Nords”, she belives that it will belong Ulfric if she gets his way. Despite being strongly opinionated, she does not wish to fight between the unrest. Not to mention the Nord superiority complex that the Stormcloaks have from her view; how can an Altmer get on the back of that?
◦ Jei-Ei has strong ties to Black Marsh and from that is very passionate about beast-kin being well treated (specifically Argonians). Especially in Skyrim with the race prejudices, she feels it an obligation to stand up for beast-kin and is accepting to “lesser” races though in contrast, she shows a distaste for Nords upon first impression.
◦ Despite being a member of the Dark Brotherhood, she does not worship Sithis. While she is passionate about the “old ways” of the faction and does believe him to the “dread father”, she has little in her heart for worshipping another. This extends to the Nine Divines – which she barely regards – though she has a mild fascination and furthered understanding with Daedra.
◦ While it’s said that there’s no honour among thieves, Jei-Ei has a strong respect for well-skilled criminals whether they be thieves or murderers. Through connections over her century and a bit of living, she’s come in contact with the Thieve’s Guild and considered but instead refused and took up work she enjoyed more in the Dark Brotherhood. Her respect for them is high held and Jei-Ei particularly enjoys affairs when the two meet (demonstrated by her work as a part-time fence).
◦ There’s no hard bias in her but she believes that mages are better off than warriors in most ways. In reality, this is heavily debated but Jei-Ei’s been swayed by her years training in sorcery.
◦ Jei-Ei is interested in studying the dragons as much as possible while they are around. She wishes to know all the knowledge that she can about them and is keen to learn something exciting, something that she hasn’t felt as if she’s done since her younger days.
BACKGROUND: There may be no honour among thieves but through her childhood Jei-Ei developed a parallel view when it came to dealing with assassins. Jei-Ei was but a babe when she was separated from her parents by the most final of terms: death. Her true mother and father, whoever they had been, were the targets of a black sacrament and back in the days of the Dark Brotherhood’s efficiency, it was promptly followed up on (and followed up on rather well). Her entire survival was based on a split decision that hinged on the sympathy of an Argonian assassin from Black Marsh who took the babe in as her own back from her birthplace) to Archon, Black Marsh. The babe was stripped of any Altmer identity that she may have had and was given an Argonian name, Jei-Ei, by her adoptive mother, Gei-Li.
Never bearing hatchlings of her own, Gei-Li raised Jei-Ei as the daughter that she would have wanted. Informally, she spent her childhood training in stealth with her mother’s intention of having her eventually joining the Dark Brotherhood. Jei-Ei never complained nor did she ask questions about her origin – she found her passions for blood and learning at a young age. Jei-Ei grew with a thirst for knowledge that could not be contained by training as an assassin despite her content in such a position (and her talent as she would go to learn later in life). Jei-Ei left her mother in Black Marsh at age twenty with a travelling sales party with intentions of doing travelling before she joined the Dark Brotherhood – a promise that she made and intended to fulfil no matter what.
Her travels landed her in Cyrodiil where she remained most of her years before travelling to Skyrim. Jei-Ei wandered and watched as she saw guilds and factions crumble down to their lowest points but this is what gave her the leverage to blossom into the woman that she has become today. While she wandered, she came across a group going by the name of “The College of Whispers” and upon further inspection, they caught her interest just fine. Despite her inability to practice it to her content because of Gei-Li’s plans for her, Jei-Ei was fascinated and had her mind engrossed in the arts of magic. After hearing that they were from the remnants of the Cryodiilic Mage’s Guild, she joined up with the group and began to study magic under them. She continued this for fifty years day and night, until the age of seventy-one, at which point the curious Altmer had been replaced with an arrogant but skilled sorceress, heavily mastered in Destruction and Restoration.
Jei-Ei considered returning to her home of Black Marsh but decided to leave the swamps be considering how long she had been gone, assuming age had consumed her mother. Then, Jei-Ei decided to cash in her promise to her mother almost half a decade prior and that was to join the Dark Brotherhood through the Cheydinhal Sanctuary despite the rapid decline of the organization. With little to no trouble, Jei-Ei made it into the organization but with little numbers and the impending destruction of the guild, she saw little hope while she remained in that province. With the fall, Jei-Ei also made herself available to thieves as a fence to bring in more income rather than based on contracts alone. Through the little time she spent, she rose through the ranks quickly because of childhood training.
When the fall of the Cyrodiil Brotherhood came, Jei-Ei relocated to Skyrim in an attempt to find an active Brotherhood sanctuary but ended up detouring through Skyrim and travelling a fair share and exploring more of alchemy ingredients that grew in the new region. Her presence in the new place with almost unnoticeable and she had all intentions of keeping it that way, only living through the shadows. When the Dark Brotherhood became active again in Skyrim, Jei-Ei sought out her former family and re-signed herself to the guild after taking her fair break. Since, Jei-Ei has lived solely by the Brotherhood though is not content with the new ways of the guild – but killing is killing, and she enjoys her skill too much to give it up.
