I could share the long “““theory”““ post I was writing up about how the hidden machine under that tarp in Mai Trin’s apartment could have been an experimental jade mech ‘body’ for her Scarlet invocation to inhabit, which I spent WAY too much time collecting screenshots of in-game assets for.
Or I could instead just hand over my sketches of this bizarre, hypothetical mess of a concept (holographic facial expressions included!) and offer a Jade Mech Scarlet™ that absolutely no one asked for, then refuse to elaborate.

My 1st entry into the UAOT “Wow, That is quality Armor” art contest.
I’ll be uploading the other 2 designs over the next few days.
A set of armor designed in conference with Ash Legion Force Recon units to facilitate more outspoken battlefield tactics, though with a few concessions in the spirit of presentation.
The armor is covered in a thin layer of glare killing gesso that might be the traditional nighttime black, or camouflaged for daytime operations. The undersuit is speckled with rubber reinforced gel bump patches, which help stand the armor off to provide enhanced protection from tumbles and impacts, as well as solving much of the ‘breaking and shaking’ from plates sliding around due to lack of friction with their backing.
Like this post (or reblog to your gw2 blog) if it's okay for me to come ask you random questions about your gw2 characters at any time. Unrelated to ask games, literally just ant questions I think of
Caithe is actually such a compassionate character. She's so isolated and lonely and it's kind of heart breaking watching it but once you realise that she is constantly, consistently reaching out to people it's so much worse.
Caithe is the one who tried to repair Destiny's Edge, and thanks the commander constantly for being there for her during Dungeons, and she's the one who reaches out and worries if the commander is hurting over Aurenes loss too, but she's so alone for so much of the story despite the fact she is trying so hard to be a good friend. She's just so afraid at the same time.
this is going to sound mean to kralkatorrik but i think one of the things that really sells the ‘killing some insurmountable elder entity’ fantasy around him is the dread that he just wont DIE. you bombard him with everything you have in your arsenal, major characters can sacrifice themselves in a heat of passion, airships and missiles and giant resonance crystals and dragonsblood spears, and when the smoke clears the damn thing shakes itself off, new cracks in its armor, and saunters away. you literally crush it under several islands at once, and it’s pressed under there immense and immobile, and its wrathful heart is still beating. it lives to remember every time you hit it.
I know ingame it's not a possible thing, but has your character(s) gone through profession changes as their story/lore progresses? Does your character(s) have some aspect of another profession in their old/new core profession?
(For example, I have this Deadeye ingame, but his story has him start off as a Ranger with two loyal pets, and he swapped to being a Deadeye midway his story/lore while still retaining his pets)
Or does your character(s) remain in the same profession throughout their entire story?
Or perhaps, you have created a completely new type of non-canon profession for your character(s)'s story/lore?

I'm sure there's nothing here that you don't already know. Arc decided very early into knowing Mye that she was their little sister whether she wanted to be or not. Mye went through so many of the same things as Arc did, and they care about her and want to help her, even if they haven't known her very long in the grand scheme of things. And besides that they just think she's kind of a cool person! They feel a sense of comradery with her and she is always a welcome presence.
Theitia is convinced that Mye is a problem and there are a number of reasons that she has come to that conclusion, most of which have very little to do with Mye herself because she has met Mye like twice. Theitia is a very paranoid person who doesn't take well to the threat of being made a fool of, or someone she cares about getting hurt. Several angles to it, the mesmer thing is a fucking huge one, the fact that Theitia was already so paranoid at the time when she was first mentioned, a lot of underlying guilt about things she's done getting projected onto Mye. She reminds Theitia of so many bad things, and many of her perceptions of Mye are incredibly contradictory and don't make sense.
