VACATION WEIGHT LOSS GUIDE ☀️ 🌻
so i’m guessing at least a few of you will be going on holiday and you’re still disappointed with your body. i’ve done a little bit of research and tried to put together somewhat of a guide to lose weight on vacation to somewhere sunny and by the sea!!
let me start off by listing a website i found, which helps calculate how many calories you will burn while doing an activity. it is super useful and you can find it here.
1. swimming. this can be in a lake, pool, beach or anywhere else. now i know how bad it will be to wear a swimsuit and be exposed in front of people, but trust me on this. for an average teenage girl (115lbs, 5’2) swimming burns about 350kcal per hour. thats 1,050kcals every 3 hours. and that is when you’re swimming completely casual. a little bit of backstroke, butterfly, other easy swimming techniques and you could bump it up a couple of hundred kcals. it also exercises every muscle in your body and will make you so so so toned.
2. walking. especially in the evening or night, go for a walk across the beach or just walk around the place you’re staying. there will be less amounts of people to see you. especially after dinner as it can help aid digestion and has many other positive benefits. it can also be calming and help you destress.
3. swap out foods. especially on beach holidays, there is no way you can not eat fish(unless you are vegan/vegetarian ofc). fish has so many good benefits so swap out a lot of meats and unhealthy junk food for healthy grilled fish every once a week or so! also swap out unhealthy snacks for fresh fruit and vegetables as there is so much more present on tropical resorts.
4. give yourself freedom. allow yourself a sweet day every once every 2 weeks. having a scoop of ice cream during the day when it’s scorching hot won’t kill you. if it will soothe your sweet tooth, allow yourself it, but never forget to keep control, but don’t hold yourself back completely.
if you go in the water at least 2 hours a day and you’re on holiday for a month and you try and clean your diet a little bit, you will see progress. i leave for holiday in a week and i will keep a journal on my progress. thinking of all of this has made me happier and more relieved to go on holiday as not only is it to relax, i’m hoping it will help me lose weight!!!

self-destruction doesn’t always look like taking too many pills or cutting your skin open. sometimes it’s drinking coffee when you know caffeine gives you panic attacks. sometimes it’s crossing the street without looking both ways. sometimes it’s showering with the water a little too hot. sometimes it’s avoiding eye contact with your reflection in the mirror or ridiculing your problems rather than addressing them. sometimes it’s walking out without sunscreen in scorching heat and not wearing enough when it’s freezing out. self destruction isn’t always physical mutilation, mostly it’s masked as little things so never assume what someone may be going through just bc they don’t show you visible signs of suffering.

easy thigh gap workout
here’s a simple exercise that you can do any time of day.
this workout is the best, trust me. I went from thighs completely touching, to thighs barely touching at all in just a few days.
lay on your back, with your knees bent, feet together. fold a bed pillow and put it in-between your thighs. squeeze and hold for two seconds. do this as many times as you can, trust me, it’s going to burn. when you feel like you can’t do it anymore, squeeze and hold the pillow for ten seconds. It seriously hurts, but totally worth it.
I found that this is really the only workout that mainly focuses your inner thighs, so if you don’t want thick toned thighs, this is the perfect workout for you. if you want I’ll post a photo of how to do it, just message me!

Original tips to avoid binging
Sooo, I thought I could share some of my personal tips to avoid binging.
1) paint your nails. You cannot eat until the nail polish dries. If it’s just a craving in 10 minutes you’ll forget about it.
2) take a shower. Relax. Moisture your body. Then look at the mirror. Don’t you see how far you have come? Do you want to ruin it all?
3) allow yourself a binge day once every other week. It won’t hurt you I promise, plus it will help boosting your metabolism.
4) drink 2 glasses of water.
5) create a study plan and then study. Try to concentrate as much as you can. This has so many benefits such as: improving your grades, your memory and avoid binging.
6) call a friend/a relative. You won’t regret it. You will improve your relationships or friendships plus you can’t eat while talking, right?
7) look at thinspo. Binging won’t help you reach your gw.
8) if you don’t want to work out then search for some yoga/pilates videos on YouTube. You can relax and exercise at the same time.
9) plan an outfit for the next day. This can take some time plus it will remind you to not ruin all of your hard work for a SILLY CRAVING.
10) if you end up binging don’t worry. Calm down. Don’t purge. Don’t take any pill/medication. It’s fine. You have learned an important lesson, write down how you feel so you can read it the next time you want to binge.

🌻Tiny Happy Things🌻
🌺 When I lie down now, my stomach is perfectly flat and my ribs jut out, even after I’ve eaten.
🌺 My thighs are visibly smaller now. I don’t have a thigh gap, but I do have a calf gap, which is a huge improvement from where I was.
🌺 One t shirt that I have used to be - not tight, per se, but definitely figure-hugging. It’s baggy now.
🌺 I tried a dress on that, a few months ago, wouldn’t button up. It’s now loose around the waist.
🌺 I used to have an 8 inch difference between my waist and hips. It’s now a 12 inch difference.
🌺 My shoulders are way pointier now.
🌺 I’m only 17 pounds heavier than my skinny friend (and my boobs are much bigger sooooooo :P) and it won’t be too long before we’re the same weight if I keep up my weight loss patterns!
🌺 I guess I’m really lucky in this regard, but I’ve lost the most around my waist and thighs and almost nothing around my boobs and hips. I’m beginning to see my hourglass figure.
🌺 My size 12 (UK) jeans are loose. Six months ago, it would’ve been a victory to get them on at all.
🌺 I can fantasise about having a big muscular gf and have my role as her tiny dainty gf be way more believable (don’t judge I’m lonely 😅)
🌺 This one is kinda mean, but…my sister said I make her feel fat because I’m a smaller size/eat less junk food
All this and I’m barely halfway. I can’t wait to see how this list will grow when I lose the rest!
