I know everyone talks about the Sherlock series but why does no one know the old Russian Sherlock Holmes films (1970s, 1980s-ish)? Because not only are they really really good, Sherlock is actually a really nice guy (plus the storylines are extremely faithful to the original books).

But the first film/episode is probably one of the best, because when Holmes and Watson first meet, nobody tells Watson what this guy does for a living (I don't really think many people know, either). And Watson sees this man with his chemical reactions in the living room, lock-picking tools lying around on the table, a freaking human eye in a glass of water, and all the weird visitors that arrive (some of whom are never seen to leave), and in an impeccable leap of logic, decides that he is living in the same house as a master criminal.

And Sherlock freaking just. Rolls with it. Not just that, he actively trolls Watson. After the incident that reveals to Watson finding out about the whole detective thing, he asks, 'By the way, what happened to that weird old man who went into your room that one time and never came out?' and Sherlock waits until he's not looking, reaches down, picks up the mask and does the old-man-voice while using it as a hand puppet. I mean, come on.

Not to mention the time Sherlock points out a person on the street, says a bunch of stuff about him, his marriage status, what kind of dog he has, and when Watson asks him to explain, Sherlock just. Goes over. Says in a serious tone. 'Well, the thing is, that man just so happens to be my older brother.'

if i had super speed im sure people would be like "how could you possibly have super speed" and i would be like "ok, ill prove it. name something you can get at a grocery store" and they would be like "hmmm okay. cheddar cheese" and then i would use my super speed to shave their head completely bald almost instantly. theyll never see it coming
