I’ve actually never answered this, but the answer is simply that I don’t like writing for ships or x reader so since I don’t want to write them, I don’t.

Sing 2 Spoilers
I agree, there were some areas that it was very rushed as it felt like the movie wanted to do a bit of everything instead of focusing on a few things. I did really like the action though. I also wish Ash and Buster got into an actual argument about the whole deception thing as I think that would have improved the movie.
The day I went to watch Sing 2 I was so happy that I couldn't believe I was going to watch it that evening. I had been waiting for it for 5 years and for 6 months with even more excitement since the first trailer came out and when December 22nd finally arrived, my head exploded. I liked it so much that when I left the cinema, I felt that it was shorter than I expected, although it actually lasts almost 2 hours. I think that's because the official Sing 2 accounts posted too many clips on social media and when I went to watch the movie it was like I already knew 50% of what was gonna happen. Well, here are some things I felt I was missing from Sing 2:
- A conversation between Buster and Porscha in which she tells him her feelings and her story with her father, so we would have known her even better.
- Rosita and Porscha becoming friends when Porscha goes back to work on the musical.
- Nooshy talking about her past, about why she dances in the street without a license or about her family situation.
- Generally speaking, they were dealing with issues like anxiety in Rosita and Johnny, depression in Clay Calloway and stress in Buster, and that's great, but they aren't things that are talked about in depth. I suppose that's because it's a familiar movie and they are subjects that children would overlook, but I think that for teenagers and adults it would be a very interesting point to add.
- Throughout the movie we see a very special relationship between Ash and Buster and I love that. I think it would have been perfect if at some point she said something about him being like a father figure to her or something like that, since we don't know anything about Ash's parents and that makes me think that maybe she doesn't have. I needed Buster to tell Ash at the end of the movie that he was very proud of her, as a final touch because, even though his face during Ash and Clay's performance shows it, I needed those words.
- It's clear that there is a very big evolution in the family relationship between the gang and we can see that second level of union and love that we needed. I would have loved to see scenes of Ash, Johnny and Meena acting as the 3 teen/young adult siblings they are in the gang and a special conversation between Rosita and Gunter about Porscha getting the main character's role, who are like siblings too. I think this is what the fandom falls in love with, the family that they all have formed together. I really want them to make Sing 3 happen because I want to keep watching our gang growing.
I say all these things because I'm a big fan of the movie and I feel that I needed them, although it's obvious that Sing 2 is a work of art, that it will be nominated for many awards and that it will win many of them, that the music is spectacular and that each and every one of the characters has an awesome development♥️🎶

With the movie having new characters, I felt like it was a good time to update my rules/info about how I’ll write and who for.
All requests are kept platonic
All requests are PG (family friendly so it’s accessible for any fans of the movie)
I count the Moon Theatre group as the following so if you ask for a general request, these are the characters. I will accept requests with as many of these characters as you want.

I will write for the following characters, but not count as the main group, so they have to be specifically requested. You can either request 1 of these with another member of the group/whole group or 2 interacting together.

Honestly, it was really good. I recommend seeing it. The intro started out good as well as the story itself and the only thing I would fix is the pacing in some parts.

Sing 2 Sky Full of Stars Theory
Spoilers for Sing 2. Note: I have not seen the movie yet.
In the soundtrack, listening to the song “Sky Full of Stars” It at first sounds like one would expect, a fun pop song. During the final bit of the song, it’s clear that there is more of a battle tone to it. This combined with the fact that the lyrics aren’t exactly what one would expect a battle song to be, makes me wonder how much of the stage fight was choreographed and how much was actually fighting.
I know I pointed this out in theories before, but the change of tone in the song suggests more evidence for it.
What I’ll probably have to wait to see is how much of it is on stage and how much is an actual fight and what happens to make such a change happen. I doubt Johnny would be willing to derail the show by starting a fight during it. He probably stood up to Klaus sometime before and Klaus either did angrily or he was told to by Jimmy.
It is possible that it was planned that Johnny’s character sings the song normally, then angrily when Klaus’s character comes in and that’s when the stage fight happens, but even at that, we see the others concerned for him in the trailer, which wouldn’t happen if it was part of the plan.
Either way, from trailers and this song, I’m pretty sure that at least to some degree, the fight wasn’t planned.

Sing 2 Soundtrack Thoughts
Spoilers for Sing 2. Also, I won’t put my thoughts on every song (especially if it was released earlier, but also if I just don’t have much of an opinion on them.). I didn’t see the movie yet so please take that into account with these opinions.
“Let’s Go Crazy”- At first I wasn’t fond of the into, but the rest of the song is fun so I enjoyed it. Sounds like it would be a cool song for them to start performing with, but not exactly a favourite.
“Can’t Feel my Face”- I’m curious where it will fit in the movie, but it sounds cool.
“Heads Will Roll”- Really good. Judging by trailers/clips, the performance will be fun to. I can’t wait to see it.
“Sing 2 Audition Medley”- It’s a good a length, the songs are good and it’s just fun overall.
“Where the Streets Have No Name”- It’s amazing. Everyone sang this song so beautifully together.
“There’s Nothing Holding Me Back”- It’s a really good duet. It’s fun and their voices work well together. The last line was sang very well.
“Stuck in a Moment You Can’t Get Out of It”- Amazing, I really like the emotion in this song. We usually hear fast paced rock songs so this is really good for her.
“Soy Yo”- I’ll admit, I can’t understand the lyrics but I can tell it’s a good song.
“Sky Full of Stars”- It’s a fun song. I really enjoy the battle feel towards the end, but the dance part near the beginning. Also, the song itself doesn’t sound like a battle one, which makes the change in tone more prominent.
“Could Have Been Me”- Awesome. I wonder if this will be the song Porsha sings when rebelling against her dad. It surprised me that she only has one song in the soundtrack, but I think this is a very good one.
“I Say a Little Prayer.”- Not exactly a big memorable song, but they sound really good together and it’s a sweet song.
“Break Free”- Honestly, I was really looking forward to this song as Rosita is my favourite and it is very good. I’m not sure if I like it more than the more emotional songs, but it’s very good. Also, Gunter’s robot noises were awesome.
“I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”- I really like the song. It has a good mix of emotion and power.
Again, I didn’t include every song, but those are just some thoughts. Overall, I think the soundtrack is very good.

This is interesting, I think dialogue in the movie made the story different or there was a translation error. I thought Buster was at least 30 since his dad saved for 30 years to buy the theatre as mentioned in the first movie and there is no way that Rosita and Ash are the same age.
I don’t know, I typically don’t like disagreeing with actors about their characters, but the numbers just don’t add up.
Interviewer: How old do you think your character is?
Benny (Buster): Around 28 years old, I still see a very young energy.
Hanna (Rosita): Well, 24 years old.
Ashely (Ash): Well, 24 years old too.
Vadhir (Darius): around 28-30 years.
Roger (Johnny): Well, I also think about 28-30 years old.
