Refreshed Main Menu - Dark Mode 1.0

An alternative version of my Refreshed Main Menu - with centered UI, simplified look and a nice dark background.

AVAILABLE ON MY PATREON

Available in two versions: gradient and darker, solid color.

Worth knowing:

- Adapts to any screen resolution and aspect ratio;

- Changed font colors to white for better readability (expect scenario subheadings);

- Menu is slightly smaller than the original;

- No ads, news, social media icons or forum links*

Refreshed The Sims 4 Main Menu!

From dream to reality - it's finally here! 🎉 Refreshed The Sims 4 Main Menu has come to life as a fully functional mod! Now, every time you launch your game, you'll be greeted by a peaceful landscape, free of advertising and news.

Version 1.0 is now available in Early Access [Mortimer Tier and up], featuring a clean look for the "My Home" tab. The Packs, Kits, and Scenarios screens are fully functional, although they may be harder to read. I plan to work on improving this further if possible.

There are currently two flavors in two versions: Garden and Night, both adapted to 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios. The mod will also work with other aspect ratios, but the graphics will be stretched.

some tips :D 1. use more tags, instead of just "sims 4 mods", add more tags like "ts4 mod", etc. so it's more searchable, tags are important and no need to worry about using lots of them 2. use xkit extension (rewritten, new xkit is outdated), it lets you add stuff on tumblr to make it more usable (example, for the previous tip, it has a tag bundle feature you can use to easily add many tags to a post) 3. add a page for ppl to easily separate mods from ur other posts 4. reblog stuff u like :))

Cinematic Live Mode Camera

What does it do?

This mod adds a nice depth of field blur in both far and near planes when the live mode camera is fully zoomed out.

It gives a slight tilt-shift effect and helps the far horizon blend in, reducing the jarring edges.

How does it work?

This mod modifies the in-game depth of field blur values, so make sure your graphics settings support that effect. Post-processing effects must be enabled in the graphics settings for this mod to work!

testing some workarounds in The Sims 3 - I managed to add a foundation to an existing house!

This method I'm testing didn't make the process smooth, I still had to rebuild some parts and re-insert some objects, but it's better than nothing, I guess? If the house has more floors, it's even worse. Haven't tried that yet, tho.
