i feel genuinely ill

i remember there being a distinct moment before season 2 was announced where i became convinced that the show wasn't going to be renewed. and i was upset, obviously, but i gave myself the time to consider the possibility and come to terms with it. i was still hopeful but a little more resigned you know?

but season 3? that seemed like a given. they were selling merch and that merch was some of the highest selling stuff of the year! the show was in the most watched shows on the platform for weeks! they sent out a whole survey asking fans what they would want in another season! the creative team were all acting like they had this in the bank! like...what more needed to be done??? what more could we have done???

my heart is honestly broken and i don't know what to do
