the only financial hurdle (besides rent of course) in our way is the drive down--we live across the country from each other so it will be a very long and pricey road trip! so for the time being i'm opening up commissions to try and offset some of the cost! of course please don't feel pressured if you're in a tough spot yourself, but reblogs are always appreciated!

it can be really tough when you are progressing through a difficult lesson in your life and you might already know that you need to accept a certain hard pill logically but there's a little child inside that screams "this is so unfair! everything is unfair!! i hate this i hate this i don't want to go through all this please just make this stop!" that makes it unbearable to move through. it is exhausting my love, and i hope you give grace and warmth to all the parts of you which is fighting for your survival through this difficulty. every emotion, feeling and frustration is here to make you a better person—maybe that's the last thing you want to hear right now when the weight of everything seems unbearable. seek out comfort—both from your support system and within yourself. rock the little upset child to sleep slowly, everything will be alright. the sun is so bright on the other side my love. i hope you choose to keep going ♡

My baby passed away, and I need help to pay the bill and get her ashes!!

Tuesday, November 29th: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman, who is in desperate need of help, as my 14-year-old dog passed away and I need help to pay her vet bill and getting her ashes.

On Wednesday morning, what I thought was a minor health issue with my dog Luna; her not eating, being lethargic and breathing heavily, turned out to be a large tumour in her stomach that had ruptured, which caused internal bleeding and infection. I had to decide between a risky surgery with a low success rate or putting her to sleep. After discussing with the veterinarian, we decided that the best option was to end her suffering.  

I was with her until the very end as she went to sleep, and it has been an incredibly difficult week. I still can't believe that she's gone, and I keep waking up looking for her. Sadly, I now owe £556.31 to the veterinary clinic & PCS (Pet Cremation Services) for Luna's treatment and ashes, but due to being disabled and on welfare benefits that are awaiting mental/physical health assessments, it hasn't been easy for me to pay this bill.

I know this is a difficult time for everyone, and I'm completely heartbroken to be asking for help. However, I desperately need some as I don't receive my welfare benefit until the 30th, which won't be enough to cover my rent, utilities and this bill.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much. Thank you!! ❤
