I've been working on this beautiful 1916 treadle machine for 7 months whenever I've had the time. Even though it's been hard and had lots of hurdles, I'm proud to say that as of today: It's officially working!
I wish i could agree with anyone on here in the context of the post. But i can not. Hear me out. While i agree that if you are having certain cravings it is your body saying you are lacking some nutrients(I find especially in winter citrus cravings most common because of lack of vitamin d) and yes, eat whatever you want and just make sure you are eating a somewhat balanced diet*. But I just need to ask, did you read it? To be fair, my interpretation of this post might be completely different and wrong, but based on context clues it seems like this is someone talking about how to lose weight and trying to convey the fact that there is lots of calories in fast food. When you want to lose weight you need to be running at a calorie deficit, so it seems that they were wanting to show that if you want to lose weight eating fast food is not the best choice, due to many factors the only one they highlight is how high in calories it is. I'm gonna be forward in case you don't follow. 2000 calories for the average adult is what we're gonna say, it says it is 1200 calories that is 800 calories left for daily intake if you don't exercise at all, 900 if you exercise for one hour according to this**. So in one meal that will not keep you full for as long and is lacking in most vitamins and minerals and packed full of sodium and sugar you have just wasted over half of your daily caloric intake. I still stand by that if you aren't worried about losing weight or even if you need to put on weight go for it, just know there are much better options that will lead to longer lasting health: if you are concerned about your food intake see a personal nutritionist so you can set goals and be able to make changes that you can manage and not just take random posts as gospel. I'm sorry if this was a bit of a rant, but i just can't stand things like this. *the food you eat in your day **every form of exercise wil lend different amounts of calories burned and can be affected the intensity in which it is done.
Still hungry?
