20min yoga!!! The weekend provided me with more emotional growth learning opportunities and I am working through them. Good stuff! Excited for work today and going to get my HW done after. So glad it is summer soon!! Hoping to go back to running MWF and climbing Tuesday and Thursday just for fun. I would like to continue the Climbing Bible, but running helps me connect with my friends easier since they cannot afford the gym membership.

Had an awesome time yesterday!!! Ran a 5K with friends 😁 held a 10min mile pace on a fairly flat course. It was a good run and felt easy!

Calm yoga this morning. Realized for the last few weeks I have not been doing the work of breathing, focusing on my body, and finding inner peace in the moment inside of relying on nostalgia. Today I will check in with my body, and work on breathing.

Okay, but this is really good....

Made a sauce of (3) red chillis, (3) Guajillos, some soy sauce, vinegar, (2) heads of garlic, 2tbs sesame seeds boiled in Veggie Broth and thickened with corn starch. Added wood ear mushrooms right before thickening.
Fried tilapia with Cajun Seasoning and basil.
Poured sauce on to a bag of spinach and a bag of broccoli.
Ta-da!!!!

Spinach: $1.20
Broccoli: $1.30

Woo!!!! Looked at cleats, went to class, no parking pass yet, started laundry, made it to Mo's, and did my workout!

25min walk and yoga this morning. Definitely feeling the blisters for Hurling Practice yesterday. Yikes!!! It was a good practice though, and I am happily sore. My goal this week is to have some movement every day. One day down.

Saturday is a 5K with my Friend! I will walk most of it but I am glad to see my friend. I do not think signing up for it was worth disrupting my previously solid workout plan/goals, but, it IS worth it to support a friend. Next time, if I have less than 8 weeks notice, I will let them know that I will just attend the run to cheer. I am scared for work this week, but prepared. I know this employer expects 50hr weeks, which is what I signed up for but was assuming the support of my (former) boyfriend as I also attended classes. Work has picked up to now so it is actually requiring 50-60hrs a week. It is very difficult for me to keep up. This week will be the fourth week with this work load. I have done my meal prepping so I should not have to cook, but I do need to pick up more milk and more protein powder. Due to the shift in work load, some major re-balancing is required in my life.
I caught up on a lot of sleep this weekend. I am glad. I have only been getting 2-6hrs per night the last few weeks. Hence the little to no workouts. Lots of Monsters. I am still glad I saw the eclipse last Monday, it was epic. But it made last week's light week long.
Well, time to stop complaining and get after it!! I am well rested and ready to go.

Today I get to put on my emotional "Big Girl" pants and have a hard conversation with someone. It will be hard/serious adult conversation #3. The more of these I have the more I will grow. There is emotional and social risk involved, but, I am going to do it and keep growing. TBH the big girl pants line is giving me the courage to do this. Because, YEAH!! I am an adult, I CAN handle size changes, I CAN adapt, and I CAN have the hard conversations.
I am back to 180lb and very discouraged. None of my pants fit me, and it is very uncomfortable. That is 35lb and 5 pants sizes up since November. I did start eating simple carbs again, and I have gained a lot of muscle. But I feel so out of control of my weight and my body. 10lb was in the last month. My knees are doing okay with the additional load so far, but it is still a lot to carry around.
Scared and frustrated. Every once and a while I can accept it, but most I am uncomfortable ****With my perception*** of my body.
