Productive day so far today. Went to see the psych doctor to make some much needed med changes this morning, and I got everything I wanted, so I’m happy with that. I also found out that I’m down 14 pounds! When I got home I did another hour long binaural beats meditation, this time for confidence boosting and removing negative blockages, and held the anxiety/balance stone the whole time. I also have been praying A LOT. Next, I decided to do a glycolic peel, which was much needed and way overdue. I did 3 passes for 10 minutes with no visible reaction, but I did have some mild tingling. I followed it up with a the Caudalie skin perfecting salicylic acid serum and the Sunday Riley A+ 6.5% retinoid serum, finishing with SPF 100. Post-care will be simple, just Creme Shop brightening cleanser, GLAMGLOW supertoner, and the Caudalie and Sunday Riley serums. No moisturizer to maximize peeling, and, of course, SPF 100. This will be the last time I’ll peel before Cools’ wedding. Next up today, step writing group! Keeping busy, and keeping positive!

Try New Things Saturday

So, lots of new things today. First off, I’ll start with the fun stuff. I got my Sephora Play! box today. Got a GLAMGLOW toner and a Sunday Riley retinoid serum that I’m really excited about. Nice NARS lip crayon in there too.

On to the important things. I decided, since I’ve been really struggling lately, that I would try a few of the things people have given/suggested to me that might help my anxiety and depression - I’ll deal with the hallucinations and night terrors later, they’re manageable. First, I put on an hour long binaural beats for serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins, which I really liked. While listening to that I tried the acupressure cuff that Linden gave me on both my upper left thigh and my left forearm for 10 minutes each, 30 minutes apart. It hurt a decent amount, which was good, so I’m happy with the immediate results, and will definitely try this again, especially in a crisis moment. Lastly, I held the anxiety/balance stone that I can’t remember the name of that T gave me the entire hour. This also seemed to help, and I could really feel the energy output. All in all, I’m really happy with the results, and will definitely try all of these again.

Now, I should probably go take my meds. =P
