Hello everybody and welcome to the Top Gun Fake Dating Summer Secret Santa Fic Exchange!
We are thrilled to announce this and hope you鈥檙e all as excited as we are to get this in the air.聽
The theme for this exchange is fake dating! All participants will fill out the sign up form with three prompts or ideas relating to this theme with corresponding characters they鈥檇 like to see in each scenario. Each participant will be matched with another participant, and must write a fic with a minimum word count of 1,000 words. The fic must highlight at least one of the fake dating prompts they鈥檝e received and must center around at least one character from the Top Gun universe.
As this is a fic exchange formatted like a secret santa, it鈥檚 important to keep who you鈥檙e writing for a secret! We want everyone to be surprised when they receive their gift, so it鈥檚 best to keep it under wraps. If you would like to use a beta, we鈥檇 recommend reaching out to someone who isn鈥檛 involved within the fic exchange.聽
Sign ups for the exchange will begin April 20th and close April 27th, the prompts will be distributed April 28th. The deadline to finish your fic is July 4th. Due to the nature of the fest it鈥檚 important to adhere to this deadline, however if you require an extension please email the mod team at [email protected] (please include "TG Fic Exchange Extension/Change Request" in the subject line if possible).聽
