Carlito Vs. Sting WWC Aniversario [September 21st, 2013]
A month or so ago, I learned of this match’s existence. I never knew that former WWF Intercontinental Champion Carlito locked horns with former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Sting, but at Carlito’s father’s promotion World Wrestling Council, the two would clash at the promotion’s Aniversario event in 2013. While Carlito is a beloved wrestler (although a rudo) in Puerto Rico as the eldest son of Carlos Colon, Sting is an internationally revered athlete and an icon in the sport.

Chris Jericho Vs. Johnny Jeter OVW Super Summer Sizzler Series [July 25th, 2003]
Professional wrestling has seen its share of rising stars come and go through the years, but for myself, and for my money, in the early 2000′s there was no better up-and-comer in the WWE developmental territory than Johnny Jeter. A handsome, young, fresh talent in great shape and with phenomenal ability, Jeter was a huge hit with wrestling fans straight outta the gate from his 2001 debut, through his eventual rise in the WWE as a member of The Spirit Squad. One of the matches that would help cement Jeter’s future in wrestling was his bout against the first ever Undisputed Champion in WWE history, Chris Jericho. In front of a packed crowd at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Jeter went toe to toe with arguably the best in the world, and tested everything Jericho had, only to beg for more!
To my knowledge, this is the first time this match has been available online, uploaded by Jeter himself. Jericho was at the peak of his wrestling career up to that point and gave Jeter probably the best match he’d ever have. Definitely worth a watch!

Xavier Walker Vs. Carlito RRW Road Rubber Rumble [March 10th, 2018]
Portland, Indiana’s Road Rubber Wrestling has quickly risen as a must-watch promotion, having hosted two events this year with some very special guests. The first event featured former WWF Intercontinental Champion Carlito, who as every wrestling fan knows is the coolest of the cool. When Xavier Walker took exception to this, calling himself “Can’t Miss” and declaring that he himself is the biggest star on the event. After demanding to face a star on his level, he’s met by Carlito, who’s happy to show why Walker isn’t ready for the big time!

Road Rubber Wrestling returns to Portland on November 16th with Rise Of A Champion, featuring Daniel Eads challenging Jake Omen for the vacant RRW Championship.

UXW Heavyweight Championship: Goldust Vs. Sabu UXW Xtreme Havoc [June 16th, 2007]
Were you aware that you wanted to see a match between Sabu and Goldust before you saw the title of this entry? Me neither. This match is shortly following both wrestlers being released from the WWE when both were in phenomenal shape and wanted to work at their absolute best. Sabu wrestles Goldust as if he’s taking on God himself and Goldust takes to Sabu like he’s the devil. Having wrestled in three of the top promotions in pro wrestling, Sabu knows his way around this type of environment, but Goldust, a former WWF Hardcore Champion, is familiar himself, and takes Sabu to the limit both in and out of the ring!

Katsuyori Shibata & KENTA Vs. Mitsuharu Misawa & Go Shiozaki Pro Wrestling NOAH Winter Navigation [December 4th, 2005]
If you’re looking for a hard-hitting match, look no further than this tag team bout from Pro Wrestling NOAH. The legendary Mitsuharu Misawa teams with Go Shiozaki to take on a future legend in Shibata and partner Kenta, known to 205 Live fans as Hideo Itami. Shibata kicks this match off literally by tearing down Shiozaki with some lightning fast and strong kicks, bringing in Misawa who almost dares him to try the same offense. For every strike Shibata slings, Misawa answers, and the match only gets more intense from there!

Johnny Jeter Vs. Bobby Lashley WWE Velocity [Dark Match] [August 16th, 2005]
This is a very rare, unseen video- until now! A match that took place before the Velocity tapings began featured OVW Heavyweight Champion Johnny Jeter, mouthing off in Toronto and letting the fans know what he thought about their city. Afterward, Jeter issued a challenge to anyone in the locker room, obviously unaware of who his opponent would be... which was the powerhouse Bobby Lashley! The two knew each other well from working together in OVW, but their personalities would clash as the arrogant Jeter attempted to make quick work of Lashley, underestimating Lashley’s strength and speed.

Nick Dinsmore Vs. Rico Constantino NWA Ohio Valley Wrestling [July 19th, 2000]
In the early 2000′s, WWE fans were introduced to two memorable characters who are more remembered for their personalities rather than their abilities. Eugene was a wrestler who’s described as “someone who couldn’t put a square peg in a round hole”, but would emulate wrestlers he grew up enjoying, such as The Junkyard Dog and Hulk Hogan. Rico was the effeminate stylist for Billy & Chuck, who would later go on to win tag team gold with partner Charlie Haas.
Although WWE fans might recall the two for their attitudes and personalities, fans of OVW in the late 90s and early 2000s will remember them for matches like these, where both men showed that they could go with anyone in the world. Rico Constantino, a former American Gladiator turned wrestler, takes on the OVW Heavyweight Champion “Mr. Wrestling” Nick Dinsmore, both of whom were beloved. With Rico returning from a knee injury, he wanted to return with guns blazing by taking out the champion, even if it meant making some friends out of former enemies.

Kiyoshi Vs. Amazing Red Vs. Homicide TNA Xplosion [February 16th, 2010]
This match features a true clash of attitudes and demeanor but an incredible likeness in talent and ability. Two former TNA X-Divison Champions in Amazing Red and Homicide participate in a Triple Threat Match with All Japan wrestling star Kiyoshi. While Homicide wastes no time in attacking Amazing Red, he learns quickly that Kiyoshi is too and optimist, but Red has both opponents scouted and keeps the pace quick as he takes control. While Red’s talent is incredible both on the mat and in the air, Kiyoshi and Homicide work to keep both Red and each other, respectively, on the mat.

Terri Runnels - “She-Devil” [2000]
The WWF bared witness to a lot of different characters during The Attitude Era. Some were personalities, some were managers, others were just plain gorgeous. Terri Runnels was all three of the aforementioned, making her debut alongside Goldust and eventually finding her way as the manager of The Hardy Boyz following their victory at No Mercy in 1999. When it was brought to light that Runnels was playing both sides between the Hardyz and their feud with Edge & Christian, Runnels was outed as a “she-devil”, a nickname given to her by commentator Jerry Lawler. Runnels would embrace this, often playing friends against each other, such as the team of Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko who would part ways when Saturn chose to side with Terri over his longtime friend.

I have no idea who any wrestlers are or where this video was, but the fact remains, if you see fit to step into a ring and to throw a punch while surrounded by wrestlers... you deserve this.

Games Master Magazine featuring WWF wrestlers [December 1999]
One of the coolest things about game magazines in the late 90s and early 2000s was that video games were hyped up beyond the actual games. You’d have interviews with bands and athletes about what they enjoyed about the games. In this issue of Games Master Magazine, WWF wrestlers Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Viscera, and Kane are featured.

Tommy Dreamer and Raven [October 18th, 2018]
Well, it’s good to see that these two patched things up.
In the 1990s, the feud between Tommy Dreamer and Raven rocked the very foundation of the Land Of Extreme. ECW’s hottest feud took place with multiple characters, including Raven’t lackey clan of Stevie Richards, The Blue Meanie, and Beulah McGillicutty, who was introduced as a former fat girl that Dreamer turned down when the trio went to Summer camp together. Dreamer would eventually begin dating Beulah, both on and off camera, much to the dismay of Raven. Despite the fact that Dreamer stayed hot on Raven’s heels for years, he only scored one pinfall victory over his foe and only when it counted most- defeating Raven in a “Loser Leaves Town” match at Wrestlepalooza in 1997.

Love Her Or Leave Her Match: The Coal County Crusher Vs. Ace Jackson Grindhouse Pro A Nightmare On Spring Street [October 13th, 2018]
Grindhouse Pro Wrestling General Manager Jason Saint provides commentary for this grudge match between The Coal County Crusher and Ace Jackson. The once popular duo came to become enemies when it was revealed that Jackson was seen hugging and holding hands with the Crusher's girlfriend, Hazel Crow. Although Jackson insisted that things weren't as they seemed, Hazel was adamant about "telling the truth", insisting herself that she and Jackson were indeed a couple. This match took place at Grindhouse's "A Nightmare On Spring Street", where the two competed in a "Love Her Or Leave Her" Match, where the winner would leave with Hazel in tow.
