OFF- Elsen Shimeji
- Note: If you encounter any bug, please let me know! I’ll fix them as soon as possible.-
( I know there are a few white annoying pixels in a couple of frames, but so far I haven’t managed to remove them! If you are willing to give me a hand with that, I’d love you forever.)
How to use: Simply download the .zip files, extract them and click on the “Shimeji-ee” application. If this doesn’t work, choose the “Shimeji-ee” jar file instead. And there you go! Little Elsen on your desktop. ( an updated version of java runtime environment is required)
This Shimejii is available in two different configurations:
Calm : This version will only walk around, sit, and do a couple more actions. Calm shimeji will keep you company and won’t cause much trouble.
Mischievous : This version is far more active than the other! Mischievous shimeji will walk, crawl, climb walls, sit, steal your minimized browser windows, and multiply, multiply, multiply. They’re much more fun, but watch out: they’ll quickly invade your desktop.

Chihiro Fujisaki Shimeji is now live!!!!! This project was shorter than anticipated but it was definitely a labor of love!! ^.^
You can download here (extract .zip wherever and then run the java link in the main folder), tell me what you think, ask if you have any problems, and have fun with your own little alterego! I believe there is a way for mac users to run shimejis, but I haven’t a clue how that works… I guess you’ll have to go looking around for tutorials. You’ll need java to run this!!

Is it possible to use Shimeji on a Tablet?
I don't think there's even an app that supports shimejis to roam on tablet right now so it's a no. If you do want to have something similar to them, I suggest you get AniPet (on Play Store). There are currently 35 characters available to choose from and possibly more in the future updates. c:

Then just click the shimeji-ee.exe file inside the folder of a Matsuno brother of your choice and wait a few seconds for him to show up. You can have as many brothers as you want.
Edit: Don’t forget to extract the folder first!
They interact with Firefox and Internet explorer windows.
Menus are in English and you can right-click on them to change their behaviour!

and umm to use it you need to download shimeji english (mischevious is recommended), extract the image pack and place the image pack in ‘img’ folder. You will also need java (32-bit).
