autumn is coming

i can't express in words how excited i am for autumn! it's a week after my birthday, and i'm super excited. not one, not two, but 14 songs! ed has been inspired by edward elgar to write 14 songs about 14 friends in the process of autumn! i mean, i'm getting 2 ed sheeran albums in the span of 4 months, and i'm definitely not complaining!!!

i'm not mentally prepared for this album.

‘what the hell are we dying for?’

hi! it’s me! today isn’t about ed sheeran, but it’s about my second favorite artist, shawn mendes. i find the hate on his song, ‘what the hell are we dying for’, incredibly stupid. yes, he uses the new york incident as his cover art, even though it wasn’t completely related to the song. but isn’t that basically like most album covers?

his song is super pretty, and he’s very talented to finish it in one day. he uses the tragedy as a metaphor, and i feel like that’s essential to know before hating on him. if the haters are reading this, please stop hating on him. yes, he used an unrelated album cover, but don’t go hating on him for it. and in a way, it is related to the song! shawn uses a echo and filter to represent the smoke and ash that was going on during that time. his lyrics might not have been completely related to climate change, but he does have a hint of it. please stop hating on shawn. he did nothing wrong. :(
