I wanna talk about osomatsu
You see this man this is a mentally ill man. He uses comedy to deflect his problems. This man wants to be a little kid again but also doesn't want to.
Tumblr media
This man spent his whole childhood as the leader of the matsuno brothers. He became so much so of a leader that everyone just assumed whichever one they were talking to was Osomatsu himself. They would most likely be wrong. Sense he was the leader this made him the "oldest" of the brothers (osomatsu name means 5). He was difficult personalty of matsuno brothers but when they got older they all wanted to different from one another. They all found they're own hobbies and personalities all but osomatsu. He's inter personality was Osomatsu and not as his own person but as the sextuplet. He still keep his mischievous personality into his adulthood but that was a personality trait all the mastuno's had so it didn't really make him stand out from his brothers.
And the few things that do make him "different" are objects and labels made by other people.
Exhibit 1: "To be a worthless P.O.S"
There's a line in the show that shows you how Osomatsu not only thinks of himself but how he reacts to it. He says being a totally worthless P.O.S takes brains and hard work. He seems every happy with his statement because of child like behavior. It shows us how he takes insults. Instead of fighting it or making a stand for himself; he fully agrees with it. It's his way of not trying to make himself sad or hurt because is you are in on the joke it can't hurt you.
His own brothers seem to not like him we see this in episode 2 of season 1. He tries to hangout with his brothers like how they used to when they where kids. In the end they all(but jyushi and ichi) push him away. He goes to chitbia and beings to vent his feelings of how his brothers treat him. Chitbia as his friend tries to comfort him and tells osomatsu to be thankful for his brothers. Osomatsu of course tells him off because chitbia doesn't fully understand what it is like to have siblings. When oso gets home beings to start feeling bad about how he treated his brothers. When he opens the door he sees he has been replaced by someone else. Another ex:
This shows how choromastu views osomatsu and also karamastu.
Karamastu seems to have a somewhat positive view of Osomatsu while choromastu is negative.
Osomatsu used to being the leader is now demolished because the people that once probably looked up to him are berating him and telling him how much of a p.o.s he is.
(have to rewrite all the things I had wrote :( )

Osomatsu being a somewhat decent older brother for 7 minutes because I'm a sucker for older sibling characters! There might be more, but these are the ones on the top of my head

BPD culture is constantly having your needs stepped on, your mental state worsened on purpose by those around you who have no compassion for you, and being stabbed in the back and abandoned by everyone you could trust, but if you say you want to kill yourself because of it all suddenly you're a horrible manipulative person who deserves all that's happened to you
