Whoever came up with trans ftm Tree cooked. I read a fic that had this idea and it was like Moonlight being appalled by the idea of Tree identifying as male and how Tree learned to love himself for who he was rather than rely on his mother for approval… as a transman myself that hit hard. I can totally see the trans vibes in Tree and Nightheart in the books too.

I don’t really post or submit but I wanna say this because it has been bugging me and lots of people preach about not being racist but then don’t listen to voices of the people they so called “stand with”…
So, I’m Native. Specifically, Navajo, and I don’t live on a reserve but I’m full aware of certain lore around a particular legend because of my family’s passed down stories. Now, I’m glad that the MAP host for Bramblefur has asked people not to draw Ashfur wearing Bramblestar’s skin because of how similar it looks to… you know, but I still see people make memes and art of this depicting it as a joke. I get the context as I read the Broken Code arc, but it still seems rather… off, given the fact that our legend will wear skins of creatures it takes the form of and does great, harmful evil. Ashfur checks these boxes way too closely for comfort when artists depict him with Bramblestar’s skin. Especially when worn like a pelt.
I wish artists would stop doing this for the sake of respecting the cultures that Warriors has based a ton of things off of and is well known for its harmful depiction of the Tribe cats, medicine cats, and more. If people can understand why feathers behind the cat ears are harmful, please also understand why drawing this can be harmful, as it often provokes jokes made about what shall not be named and treats something serious as a joke.

It makes me feel weird whenever people brush off the mistreatment Shadowsight received from Mothwing and Lionblaze. They both treated him like crap and Lionblaze literally was like LETS JUST KILL THIS GUY

one reason why my sona is a catboy is because. yknow feline therian. i like to represent myself as both parts feline and human etc etc
but the original reason is because he was inspired by my baby when i first got her 8 years ago. rainy was originally just. my cat
now my sona is a memorial to her. he carries her wherever he goes to reflect how i carry her now

heyyyy chat sorry it's been a while. got some cats for you today
tried my hand at that little design challenge where you have to draw these four and see how different your designs are
bluestar and crowfeather aren't *too* out there (i was influenced by the latter days map back in the day and now nb crow is canon in my heart forever punches the air) but i ran with ash and cinder
i made ashfur look more like his sister and mom (mama's boy...) and i couldn't leave out their beautiful blonde hair
i gave crow a little variation to their eyes, to reference back to the journey the new prophecy cats took!
cinderpelt is a redesign from my brighthowl's pack au where i wanted to make frostfur and her kits a little more genetically accurate
bluestar doesn't stray very far from the norm, though i'm thinking of redesigning her soon!!
i think i could work with different ear shapes/face shapes, but other than that i really like how these came out :3

something i love about bigtop burger is that it really brings me back to the original essence of "blorbo from my shows," in terms of elevator pitch incoherence. yeah this is my guy blorbo the clown. he's an elder trickster god who runs a food truck. this is his fucko undead food truck nemesis who's bounty hunting him wile e. coyote style. theyre both still weirdly invested in the burgers thing. they manage two staffs of weirdos, one of whom is a real medical doctor (?). this is never plot-relevant. cats the musical is an integral component. yeah i'm deeply emotionally invested in it.

THANK U FOR ENABLING ME SM I'm thinking about. Creatures in Silent Hill AU that like Cellbit's mind created as representations of people around him yk.
Especially the creatures that represent Pac. They walk on their hands and their legs are all twisted into one single limb basically that's like a sharp blade it swings with. They only attack if you get too close to them!!
Also the ones that represent Roier,,, they're like, wailing creatures with a just big missing piece in their middle. Like in the middle of their chest there's just a big hole, and they usually cower in a corner and wail and howl. When they take notice of Cellbit being around they like, follow after him but they kind of not really hurt him on purpose? They just try to cling to him but their claws are so sharp it's painful
