Women and girls that are in Gaza are using tent scraps as period products. Tent scraps.
not only do they not have access to clean water, clean bathroom or any bathroom at this point . not only do they not have proper living corders, they do not have access to period products. using tent scraps as period products, same as many things they need to use as compensation for things they need, is causing infections.
and as there is no medical supplies available in Gaza, these women, these LITTLE GIRLS that have just started their periods are dying from these infections.
all while this is happening, you AND me have access to all those things. unlimited access.
the worst thing you can do right now is being silent. shame on all you people who have no real human compassion, nor decency who can’t even boycott, or share valuable information and news about what is currently going on.
people are dying as we live in peace, feeling “unaffected” by the situation.
children are dying as we stay silent.
speak up for Palestine. do not keep your eyes away from Palestine.

In the occupied West Bank, at least 390 Palestinians have been killed (102 children), with more than 4,450 wounded
85% of the population is internally displaced
Approximately 1.4 million+ of the remaining population have taken refuge in Rafah, a designated "safe zone"; it is the southern most city in Gaza, and only 64 sq km in size. Despite its designation, it continues to be targeted by Israali air strikes, with a ground assault planned
Humanitarian conditions in Gaza are critical, with shortages of food and water, increases in rates of infectious disease, a collapsing healthcare system, and with limited electricity and internet access
There are so many ways, big AND small, that YOU can help, and no matter where you are in the world. Please don't let the bystander effect desensitize the positive impact that every single person is capable of making.

I have friends and family that have looked me dead in the eyes and mentioned supporting Israel like they were talking about the weather. I thought it was common practice to be against war? i thought it was ingrained into our minds to stand for peace? i thought it was agreed upon that genocide is evil?
