maybe edwin and charles should not be the endgame, maybe they should make it a story about moving on and getting to know people around, and accepting that sometimes feelings are not mutual and that’s okay, and that you should learn to cope with them and not to center your world around one single person. i just feel like romantic relationships aren’t necessary for their dynamic?

level of media analysis in dbd fandom is so low i’m genuinely worried about you guys. like you all call the cat king a villain when he’s not and all this situation with the bracelet is a classic fairytale trope when character A (edwin) does something he shouldn’t (casts a spell on a cat) and gets punished by a higher magical being. from the very beginning it was edwin who broke the rules, not the cat king and everything is fair, spell for a spell. the cat king is a typical shapeshifter, he IS supposed to be mischievous and flirty but seeing different posts about him makes me really question this fandom’s sanity, it’s like seeing people complaining about the corinthian being unsettling and problematic bc he’s a nightmare.

it’s like the slightest hint of some dark theme makes fandoms uncomfortable nowadays which is very sad. i mean, you’re totally allowed to be uncomfortable with something but then why would you watch a dark fantasy show (and dbd is not even that dark or complicated, it’s pretty easy to understand and there’s nothing too heavy going on for the genre) and then complain about how toxic things are? for what?

If you want to write a dumb little story with a dumb little plot and ridiculously silly characters. No one's stopping you. Genuinely, no one should be allowed to stop you. Write that dumb story with your whole heart and don't hold back.

I´ve lately seen many young peeps in fandom spaces, worrying about openly shipping their ships because of what antis might do

so let me tell you something:

antis are huge losers who are gonna find something to hate you for no matter what you do

even if you ship EXACTLY what they ship, theyre gonna yell at you for "not shipping it right"

so, my piece of advice: just do whatever you want and tear up the house! antis are gonna hate no matter what, so ignore them and find some good companions by being yourself

So @valhargreeves and I were talking about long-haired Corinthian art, which led to me starting a drawing.

His hair, coupled with the billowy, open necked shirt I couldn't resist putting him in, is giving major Romance Novel Cover vibes.

So now I want to turn this drawing into a Romance Novel/Horror combo, including windswept hair, swollen pecs, eyemouths and bloodstained dagger.

I need title ideas though. I am terrible at them.

Anybody have ideas who wants to brainstorm with me?

kinda crack but ua in which after the remaking the corinthian is under house arrest (not allowed to go to the waking obviously) locked in the palace tower like a princess he is (he’s not really locked it’s just cori very dramatic sometimes) and all he does is cutting fruit figures and watching stupid sitcoms (ignoring that he’s still a nightmare and has duties)
