Trekking is a lot like life. As you walk through the mist, your heart pounds because you’ve been climbing up a hill with the knowledge that your goal is over these hills; but you’re heart is pounding, the sweat drips down your shirt and you gasp for oxygen just to stumble over a root and then trip on a rock only to sit gasping on a step willing your body on. These hills make us stronger to go over passes and climb further the next time. May this year make you stronger.

Tongba,from our research this hot beer was brought from East Tibet into Nepal probably in the 15th century. Tonba is the name of the wooden utensil that is used to hold the fermented millet when you pour the hot water over it. The fermented millet then turns into a lightly alcoholic drink with a refreshing nutty flavour.
The Nepali new years follows the Lunar calendar and it takes place around the third week of April. Come to visit the many festivals that take place during this time.
