This past days my hyperfixation for Hannibal (books and movies) has come back so I´ve been reading it again along with fanfics and I don´t know why I could only picture Brian Cox´s Hannibal and Victoria Pedretti as Clarice. Like... I do love Hopkins and Mikklensen´s portrayal of course, but there´s something about Cox that is so special. Physically is the most accurate, age wise and physicall. Like Hopknis was too old for me and a little bit "over the top" with the way he was acting in the movies, but reading again the books I could only picture Brian Cox in the role. He is more "down to Earth", more beliveable. Hopkins is more "threatrical" in a sense, but Cox is more like Dracula, if it makes sense. Since we know from the books that he barely sleeps at night. I know he got little scenes in Manhunter movie, I mean, he has more, because in the book he appears three times but one is in a letter but in the movie they changed it into a Call which I think was marvellous.
Victoria Pedretti as Clarice has captivated me, I loved her in You and The hunting of Hill House, and I can´t stop reading fanfics about this two and imagine this two actors. It might an impopular opinion, of course and some of the fans won´t like it. But I don´t know, Im really enjoying it like that.
