#fnaf#there were so many times reading this where the authors brought up something that seems obvious but people just don't talk about#ive always felt that CC died first#not charlie#but a lot of people seem to think charlie did and thats never sat well with me#because CC being an accident and the whole premise of 4 make for a much better prelude to the rest of the series than afton killing +#his business partners kid out of jealousy or whatever first#obviously speculative motives arent the be all and end all and fnaf rarely characterises its characters lol but its just not satisfying#so having them spell out here that charlie couldnt have died before CC was incredibly validating#on top of. everything else here. thats only a very small part im highlighting#im not sure i agree with 100% of it like i dont know if that springlock suit is meant to be GF#it has the funtime face plate situation going on at least i think#but#as someone who stopped following the games intently after 4 and picked up on the SL through UCN lore firstly through fucking matpat video#lol#and now through ryetoast and fuhnaff mostly plus the logbook and most of the other books i havent read#its really easy to get the wrong idea about things when the fandom has just kind of accepted them#like i want to go read the logbook now and i will when i get up to it im replaying the whole series atm#but being told now that no its not really as open and shut as every video makes it sound re the spirits and cassidy#that everyone could have just gotten confused and come to the wrong conclusion#thats fucked up!#i dont really know where a lot of those theories came from bcs ive only ever heard them repeated post being accepted as fact#the reason why im replaying the series now is bcs i want to understand how the hell we even got to the current theories#and im bringing along people who havent played the games before and dont know much about them to experience them fresh without bias#so its really cool to get to read something like this that makes me completely rethink what i thought i knew#so i can continue to approach the series with new eyes#uhh i wrote an essay OPs if youre reading this thank you for your work#i have a doc of my own where im compiling stuff to show my friends along the way and this ones at the very bottom of that#with the caption holy fuck in shit#i dont normally even reblog stuff like this or post fnaf on my blog anymore but i had to get this out of my system

Reblogging to add another rough piece Nishigori posted on his Twitter just before. This was drawn around the same time as the other four, but not submitted for review as he didn't want to deviate too far from the contents of the film. Eva Extra EX was called a zine by staff, but it's still a promotional work, so these things had to be considered.
