Currently everything is allowed in the cinema. Any crime in life, a director can film it under the pretext that it is fictitious but we all know that in the cinema they seek maximum realism because that is what the viewer is looking for.
Films like SAW 6 (2009 - Kevin Greutert) or A SERBIAN FILM (2010 - Srđan Spasojević) were censored in Spain for their advocacy of sex and violence according to the Spanish Government.
Currently we have become accustomed to crime and horror from TV series like CSI, CRIMINAL MINDS or THE PURGE. A danger for our childrens. An 11-year-old boy has already seen 8,000 murders on TV, a figure that rises to 200,000 when he reaches the age of majority, according to a report.
Is so much violence necessary in the cinema? Is content regulation necessary for movies and TV series? It is clear that any atrocity, torture or rape can be filmed and shown to the world in millions of movie theaters.
