From a teen full of dream to a determined strong young woman
TOMOMI: “I think that RINA’s scope of acceptance have become larger (laughs). In the past, the things that she can’t eat, she’ll never eat them, and because she wants to go home, she isn’t fond of going overseas…there were a lot of these cases. But she’s come to challenge herself.”
MAMI: “RINA has always been well put together, or you can say it comes with age. Be it herself, towards the band or staff, she’s able to see right down to the details. She now expanded that scope. It’s amazing how she fills her life with her own preferences.”
HARUNA: “She does think for all the members properly. At the start of our formation, RINA has her own dream since she were young, and you can feel that she’s made each one of them reality. But I think in times where we spend time altogether as SCANDAL, RINA will be the one that thinks about what will be good for us 4.” (c)
In these 10 years we had the chance see a 16 years old girl growing up in an unexpected and beautiful way. She started that she didn’t know anything about drums, but she didn’t let herself down: she stood up, she worked hard and never lost her determination. Rina is the perfect example that if you wish for it, work hard and one day you’ll reach your goal!
SCANDAL’s younger member is not only a well experienced and talented drummer, but she also developed a big interest in fashion that she shares daily on her blog, instagram and also in her first lifestyle book. We always knew she loved to share her thoughts with everyone and her big talent in writing, both lyrics and blogentries. She might be the youngest, but she hasn’t her head in the clouds for sure!
Rina is also an hard worker member, every details has to be perfect in order for the show to go on. She might be the other girls’s little sister, but she’s a real fighter. If she mess up something, she can get pretty irritated with herself, but she keeps practicing, and each day she does her best.
Without Rina there would probably be no SCANDAL. Thanks for all the hard work you put in the band (and not only) throughout these 10 years and happy birthday RINA-chan! (+25) Let’s make this birthday special with an amazing SCAFES!
