It’s a new dawn, It’s a new day, It’s a new life for me & I’m feeling good ✨💕 • • • It’s a new decade, actually, and tbh I’m feeling pretty beat down overall rn but I’m feeling good as hell about quite a bit too and I’m choosing to focus my energy on the positive. We rarely have full control over much in this life but we A L W A Y S do when it comes to our own choices/reactions. One of the most beautiful parts of this life is that any moment you’re alive & breathing you can always choose to change [yourself/your environment/etc] 😍💛 • • This new year & decade 2020 started on a Wednesday, which I thought was rad bc it kind of forced us all to stop/start our weeks midweek & tbh I think a lot of us would benefit from an occasional midweek reset! So much of my life has been a never-ending go-go-GOOOO! & as a result, I’ve often made decisions (even v important ones) under less than ideal, v stressful/high pressure/low support conditions. About a year ago I made a conscious change to SLOW IT DOWN to focus on this & surprise (or not), the quality of my life improved, pretty dramatically. I then turned my focus even more inward to focus on my overall wellness and thats been one of my main goals for this upcoming year. • • It’s crazy what we can accomplish when we truly set our minds/hearts and intentions.. It’s the last day of NOvember, so I wanted to remind y’all that “NO” is a n e c e s s a r y magic/power.. it’s practically engrained in some of us (like meee) to say yes / apply “the customer is always right mentality” to your whole life but it’s important to remember, of all the people you try to please.. you’re a people too 😋 “NO” is not always negative; sometimes a rejection is actually a redirection. “NO” solidifies the boundaries you’ve already placed, and often allows you to say YES to yourself/your needs. My neck/shoulder/back are healing slowly but surely, the nightmares are no longer constant (though still occurring fairly regularly)..
