Im in an American Literature class at uni rn and we were discussing the civil rights movement so ofc MLK and Malcom X. (Btw im canadian so i didnt know all of these things before). Anyway we learned that MLK, who preached passivity as a way to gain rights, was strongly supported by older folks while Malcom X, who mentioned in some speeches that they had to get their rights "by any means necessary," was mostly supported by yonger generations. My prof told us it was because younger generations were impatient for their rights and wanted change NOW which Ik has a negative connotation but that's not how im using it rn. So i started thinking abt how it applies today and I think we still see that younger generations dont gaf about oppressors feelings and we dont care how they perceive us. We know whats morally right and some facist soldiers are not gonna stand in the way of humanitarian aid. Israel keeps saying they're the victims which is probably why barely anyone is taking action against them but I think its time that these monsters learn what happens when you commit one of if not the most devastating genecides in history.

So yeah ppl can keep their "dont fight fire with fire" romantic ideals to themselves cause most of us are ready to burn the whole system to the ground.
