Olga Shostakova: Part 1
Good morning, afternoon, or evening to anyone reading my post! Thank you for taking the time out of your day or night to read my post.
Earlier today, I posted the final edit of the "brochure" for my new fanfiction, "The Widow's Caretaker". I was very excited to post the "brochure", as I had been working on that fic for the past four years.
In the post, I explained my interpretations/adaptations of Earth 616 characters Oleg* Mihalovich** and Ava Orlova***. In my story, they are the daughter* and granddaughter of Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian.
*Her name is Olga in this story, as I gender-bent the character
**Her last name is Shostakova in this story, as she has the same last name as her father, Alexei Shostakov.
***In this fic, Ava's last name is Fang, as she is the great-granddaughter of Raya and Namaari of Fang.
In that post, I explained her social roles and cultural identity. However, I did not provide any information on her physical characteristics, which are an important component to identity and identification.
As such, here is a brief description of her physical appearance:

Angel Eau de Parfum: Part 1
Good morning, afternoon, or evening to anyone reading my post! Thank you for taking the time out of your day or night to read my post.
I am very sorry for posting such long posts this past month. To change that, and make my content more digestible, I have decided to break up posts in multiple parts.
As such, to quote Lana Del Rey, "Question for the Culture": What is your opinion on Angel Eau de Parfum by Mugler?
Personally, I greatly enjoy the smell, and regularly use a dupe of it. I got the dupe from CVS, and it is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and phytate-free. However, some people do not enjoy the smell, citing the combination of sweets and patchouli to be offensive.
What do you think? Do you enjoy the smell, finding the combination of dessert and patchouli to be pleasant, or do you detest the smell, finding the combination of sweet and earthy notes to be offensive to your olfactory sense? Please let me know.

New Fanfiction: Edited
Good morning, afternoon, or evening to whoever is reading this.
I have been working on a Black Widow movie fanfiction for almost four years, and I have finally created a storyline that I thoroughly enjoy thinking about.
The title is "The Widow's Caretaker", and it follows my original character, Olga Shostakova***, the daughter of Alexei Shostakov*/Red Guardian and mother of Ava Orlova**/Red Widow, and unofficial "Widow Sister".
*In this fic, Alexei is Ukrainian, as he is in Earth-730834.
**In this fic, Ava's last name is Fang, so she has the same last name as her father's side. Ava is the great-grandaughter of Raya and Namaari
Below, I have attached the four-by-four, or sixteen-part, mood board for the story.
Each row of the mood board represents different aspects and themes of the story. The first row represents the setting, while the second and third rows represent the protagonist's, my original character's, main social roles, and the fourth and final row represents the protagonist's cultural identity. (FYI, since this is less obvious, the violets represent her Sapphic**** identity, as violets are the symbol for sapphic love)
***Dr. Olga is my interpretation of the character Oleg Mihalovich from Earth 616. I gender-bent and age lifted the character, and changed her story so she is in the medical field. However, she has a similar dynamic with Natasha as those two did in the comics. In addition, Olga Shostakova is a character in the Descendants fanfic my boyfriend and I are working on.
In addition to the story, I am in the process of creating a playlist to accompany it. In the meantime, I will provide the link to Tori Harper's "Revival" album/playlist, as all of the songs listed there are on the playlist I am creating for this fanfiction.

Hirobel: Perfect Song Part 1
Good morning, afternoon, or evening to anyone reading my post! Thank you for taking the time out of your day or night to read my post.
A few months ago, I wrote a mini-essay on how "Brooklyn Baby" by Lana Del Rey is the perfect ship song for Isabela and Elsa. After I posted my mini-essay, I started thinking of a perfect ship song for Hiro and Mirabel. I thought they would both be Swifties, and favor Taylor Swift's "Taylor Swift", "Fearless" and "Speak Now" albums. As such, I think these songs would be perfect for them:

A few months ago, I wrote a mini-essay on how "Brooklyn Baby" by Lana Del Rey is the perfect ship song for Isabela and Elsa. After I posted my mini-essay, I started thinking of a perfect ship song for Hiro and Mirabel. Elsabela: Perfect Song

Good morning, afternoon, or evening to anyone reading my post! Thank you for taking the time out of your day or night to read my post.
While I was doing my homework, I was listening to Lana Del Rey. I would not consider myself a Lana stan, but I do enjoy quite a few of her songs, especially ones from her Ultraviolence album.
While I was listening to Lana Del Rey's 2014 song "Brooklyn Baby", I thought that it would be the perfect song for an Elsabela fanfiction. For textual evidence, I have quoted some lyrics below:
First, "They think I don't understand
The freedom land of the seventies"
Both Elsa and Isabela wear costumes inspired by 1970s fashion movement, specifically punk and boho.
In addition, both of them crave freedom and self-expression.
Next, "I think I'm too cool to know ya
You say I'm like the ice, I freeze"
Yes, I am stating the obvious.
Third, "They judge me like a picture book
By the colors, like they forgot to read"
As they sing about in "Let it Go", "Show Yourself", and "What Else Can I Do", people have seen them solely as beautiful, perfect "proper ladies", when they are actually more than perfect princesses.
Fourth, "But I'm free, ooh-ooh
I'm free"
Similar to my third point, both ladies crave freedom.
Fifth, "I'm talking about my generation
Talking about that newer nation"
Both of them at least influence major social change in their respective hometowns.
Sixth, "And if you don't like it, you can beat it
Beat it, baby
You never liked the way I said it
If you don't get it, then forget it
'Cause I don't have to f*ck*n' explain it"
While I don't think either of them would be that rude to someone, they both have dealt with people, especially parents/grandparents not understanding them or allowing them to express their true selves.
Second to last, "I've got [flowers] in my hair
I get h*gh on hydroponic w**d"
After "What Else Can I Do", Isabela realizes that she can make more than decorative flowers, likely including "medicinal herbs". In addition, I am sure she is interested in learning new gardening techniques.
Last, "Yeah, my [girl]friend's pretty cool
But [she]'s not as cool as me"(Lana Del Rey, Barrie-James O'Neill)
They are both cool ladies, especially in the eyes of their younger sisters.
Ironically, according to Matthew Jacobs for Huffington Post, Lana Del Rey's song "Brooklyn Baby" is a piece of satire about 2010s-era New York City hipsters and hipster culture. (Jacobs). To state the obvious, Isabela and Elsa are not 2010s-era NYC hipsters, at least in canon and the majority of fanfictions, as their stories are set in small towns in the 19th/20th century, and they are not pretentious or elitist about their personal tastes, which people think of hipsters being.
Overall, the song encapsulates their relationship and personal lives well.

Crossover Ships: Encanto
Good morning, afternoon, or evening to anyone reading this post.
When it comes to the 2021 movie Encanto, I have been a fan of it since I watched the movie in February of 2022. As such, I have been reading and writing fanfiction about it.
Key players in fandoms and fanfiction are ships and crossovers, especially crossover ships. Often, people ship two characters from different works/fandoms because they are very similar to each other. Some examples related to Encanto include Isabela and Elsa and Mirabel and Hiro, which are my two favorite Encanto crossover ships.

Honestly, I’m still so confused why D3 suddenly made it so that the villains as well suddenly deserved to be free from the Isle???
Like, it feels like we were on the right track off needing to take the kids off the Isle, but then suddenly by the end….its the adults as well???
The only reason I can see this happening is cause of what Hades said but honestly, if they wanted to have a villain say that….they chose the wrong character. Hades earned his imprisonment when he tried to kill Hercules as a baby, tried to kill him more times if you count the TV show, and basically freed the titans, potentially causing more deaths. And that’s ignoring that in this film, he also attacked Mal with the ember. Like, he was not the right character to do that bullshit line.
But like, even then, why not see which adults are innocent and want to reform versus just…freeing all the villains, including ones who wanted revenge in the first film???
Like, this whole sudden free the villains thing makes zero sense in all areas and really wasn’t needed in the film, especially as it just leads to all the jokes about Auradon probably about to be a hellscape with the villains freed now.

Wanda Maximoff has been leaked for the Marvel's Avengers game, the one starring Kamala Khan. I have no idea if they've cast an actress yet but I think the Scarlet Witch community should push for a Romani actress to lend her voice and likeness to the character.
It may also be a good time to reach out to actresses such as Alina Serban, Franciska Farkas, Mihaela Dragan, Alba Flores, and Simonida Selimovic to make them aware that there is a chance for representation.
It may not fix the MCU mistakes. In fact, it won't change the MCU at all, but imagine a Romani actress actually being cast as Wanda in a popular video game. Imagine finally having the Scarlet Witch we deserve in popular media, portrayed the way she deserves. The way the fans who Wanda represents deserve.
I don't have instagram or twitter anymore, but I think it's very important to reach out and campaign for this.
Every possible version of Wanda should be Roma. Do not let them cast another white actress.
The game is Marvel's Avengers, its made by Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics. Specifically, Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, Square Enix Europe, Nixxes Software BV, Crystal Northwest.
