Yes, definitely.

Once the two of them find out that the agents didn’t believe in their parental abilities, they both get pretty angry and are really hurt that their friends didn’t think they were capable. It sparks a nasty fight between Four, Harmony, and the rest of the agents. Eventually the other agents apologize to the two of them, but it takes a while.

so in a previous post someone mentioned fuzzy four being in heat but what if acht got preggo with fuzzy fours baby? what complications would that cause?

It could potentialy cause the baby to be born partially fuzzy, or partially sanitized, or both. Or none of those things could happen and the baby is fine.

Marina spends time running tests to see if she can figure out which will happen, but ultimately can't find anything on how this kid might turn out.

I'm going to say that the baby has a few minor physical affects of fuzziness and sanitization. For example the scelera of their eyes is black due to the sanitization, and they have very sharp claws from the fuzz (this is somthing that Four and Acht have to be very careful about, seing as their baby has the equivalent of knives taped to their fingers). They don't have any mental issues though and are totally fine in that regard.

Thank you for the ask!!! A thought that just occured to me: assuming that it is possible for an inkling and octoling to biologicaly reproduce together, what would the result be? Would it be a 50/50 chance for an inkling or octoling, or are we going to go with the idea of inktolings?

also for the musician au we can still attach some angst to parallel cannon, basically because parallel is a copy of fours soul it believes it is the real four and is confused when it meets the real four. It believes the real four is the fake though the fight ends with parallel having a breakdown realizing its existence is a lie

Yes!!!

I’ve seen a couple of headcanons with a similar idea, and I like it a lot.

Angst is my lifeblood, so there needs to be at least a little bit in there, and this is the perfect way to achieve that!

I can see Four and Parallel Canon becoming like siblings after Parallel comes to terms with the fact that they’re entire existence was falsified and they’re just a copy of a real person, not being real themself. Yeah, they need a lot of therapy.

What if Marina makes Parallel a robot body so that they can exist in the physical world too? And then there can be a side storyline of them slowly learning to become their own person, rather than just a copy of Four.

I love where this is going! The angst is amazing!!!

Sure thing!

Four rocked the infant back and forth in their arms, trying to lull the child to sleep. They stared up at the artificall sky of Alterna, searching for shapes in the clouds. Harmony stood nearby, riffling through a bag of supplies to try and find their baby's favorite toy. They refused fall asleep without it.

"I gotta be honest, I'm impressed," Captain said, watching the two of them taking care of their baby. "When I first found out you guys were having a kid I had thought Acht would be the only one able to handle it."

Four looked at her, confusion and pain along their face. "What? Why?" Their tone was sharp. Captain knew instantly that she should not have said that.

"It's not that we didn't think you could..." Eight stepped in, trying his best to defend her. "It's just that the two of you aren't the most responsible people in the world."

"What do you mean not responsible?" Harmony's usually sing-song voice had a venom to it.

"Well Four you did have trouble taking care of most of your pets when you were little, and Harmony's clownfish is dying of neglect." Neo did not try to phrase its words gently. Captain and Eight could feel the air grow tenser as it spoke.

"He's not neglected he's just emo," Harmony snapped. Had she ever snapped at anyone before? Apparently today was the day.

"Also, I had most of those pets when I was five or six. You really think I'm still just as irresponsible as I was when I was a six year old?" Four's words were harsh, but they did not stop their slow rocking motion. The baby had finally gone to sleep, they needded to treaure this moment of respite from their constant crying.

"No it's not like that it's just..." Captain's voice trailed off. Four was exactly right, she'd assumed they weren't any more mature than when they were a child. She hadn't realized until now how bad that sounded.

"Four, I think we should go." Harmony began to turn towards the exit.

"Agreed." As Four stood up to leave, Acht arrived in Alterna. "Come on Acht, we're going home," Four said sharply.

"But I just got here--" Upon seeing the anger on their partner's faces, Acht gave up their argument and went with them.

A few weeks later, there soft was a knocking on the door to Acht, Four, and Harmony's apartment.

"Were you expecting someone?" Four asked Harmony, as they got up to answer it, laying the baby down in a crib.

"No. Who is it?"

"Oh I think I know," Acht spoke just before Four opened the door. Behind it stood Captain, Eight, and Neo. Shame hung heavily above them. "I invited them over. It's time you all settled this fight."

"Sorry, I'm busy taking care of my kid." Four went to close the door on the agents. Acht rushed over, placing their foot between the door and the frame so that they couldn't close it fully.

"You five need to work this out."

"Fine."

The six of them sat in the lving room, staring at eachother. Four and Harmony shot each of the agents angry looks.

"Alright, I'll go first," Captain said, not able to bear the silence any longer. "Agent 4, Harmony, I'm sorry that I doubted you. I see now that you are both very capable peeople and I should not have underestimated you."

"Me too. I'm sorry to you both. I didn't think clearly about the situation and jumped to conclusions." Eight spoke up next.

"Yeah, I'm sorry too. You guys are awsome and I shouldn't've doubted you for a second." Neo went last, concluding the apologies.

The same silence sat for just a moment before Four burst out with, "Thank you so much, I didn't like being mad at all of you!"

"Me neither. I accept your apology." Harmony's typical nonchalance returned to her tone.

"I'd like to point out that nobody was ever mad at me. Therefore, I win at arguments." Acht gave their tentacles a sassy flick.

"Hey, that's cheating!" Four shouted playfully.

The silence in the room had lifted, replaced by joyous laughter.

This was fun to write!!!

Captain would be really worried about Parallel's mental health. She can't imagine the pain they must be going through after finding out they're just a clone of someone.

Eight actually tries to avoid them. He's worried that being around them could cause them some harm because of how often he fought them. Parallel thinks that he doesn't like them becuase they fought him so often, and that's why he's voiding them. Eventually they work things out and become friends.

Neo sees Parallel as if it had another sibling. It immidietly accepts them, acknowledging that they're similar to Four but also their own person. Neo is actually the one to introduce Parallel to Four's family.

Four's family has a similar approach to Neo's, which is essentially "You're a clone of someone I love? Then I love you too, you're a family member now." Four's family pretty much adopts Parallel, giving them a place to stay and showering them with affection.

Oh my gosh yes.

Acht has the full intent on turning Four’s “I want love” songs into “I’m in love” songs.

Marina is rooting for them the entire time, doing everything she can to force the two to interact with eachother. For example, she schedules two opening acts for an Off the Hook performance, one being Four and the other being Acht. Now they have to converse and get to know eachother.

Finally, they've won something!!!

Imagine if Four and Acht’s child actually got along with Deep Cut and their first word was Big Man. How would Four, Acht and Deep Cut react?

Okay that would be adorable.

Four and Acht would see it as a good thing because it means that maybe this rivalry with Deep Cut is coming to an end. They are a little jealous that their child's first word wan't one of them though. They try not to let it get to them.

Shiver is surprised that Four and Acht's kid had spent that much time with them, she hadn't realized how often she was with them. Frye thinks it's adorable, and id now working to get them to learn how to say Frye next. Big Man is flattered that his name was their first word, and brags about it all the time.

What would four and acht name their child?

Ohhhh this is going to be hard to answer.

After some brainstorming, here’s the name I’ve settled on:

Gibbous

Acht was the one who came up with it. Their thought process was that Four is their sun, and the moon is simultaneously it’s own entity while also reflecting the sun’s light. Their child is their own person, while also having a little bit of Four in them, and Acht loves them just as much.

Four loved the idea, seeing it instead as both them and Acht are the sun, and their child being both a reflection of the two of them and their own individual person. They also think the name sounds cool.

Thank you for the ask!!! Names are hard, but I like this one, I think it’s nice.
