Last week I went fishing in Ontario for four nights at the Meta Lake Lodge and Outpost Camps. We flew in from Nakina, Ontario on Tuesday and flew back out on Saturday.
The fishing was great. Everything we tried (minnows, spinners, plugs, and spoons) was successful. We caught lots of fish every day and enjoyed a great walleye dinner on Wednesday night, taken from our catch that day.
I caught the biggest pike of my fishing career, trolling a spoon down the middle of the lake. The walleye were plentiful, and I even caught some nice ones fishing off the dock after supper.
The accommodations and food were outstanding. If you've ever contemplated a fly-in trip, this location is definitely worth considering.
