For context, if you’re doing taxes with someone, you���ve gone all the way. There’s flirting, dating, marriage, everything else in between, and then there’s doing taxes together. It’s a whole another level of relationship.

Finally, just a couple of housekeeping notes: for those who have purchased the zine, we are making a printable version for PERSONAL USE. If you would like a copy, please contact us and we’ll send it out to you when it’s complete!

Additionally, quite a few people have asked about a rerelease of the zine! As of right now, our mod’s schedules are pretty busy, but keep an eye out around June, as we would love to do a rerelease then! Thank you again for all of your support!!

I AM DOING A HUNGER STRIKE FOR GAZA

It has been almost 200 days of genocide in Gaza, and during this time Palestinians have been in the worst stage of starvation and famine. Children have begun dying from starvation and malnutrition, and more and more photos of Palestinian children are coming out where the child is nothing more than skin and bones.

Personally, I know I take the food I eat for granted every single day. I am no more deserving of a meal than the children of Gaza, so for that reason me and a few of my friends will be doing a minimum of FIVE day hunger strike in solidarity with my brothers and sisters in Palestine.

We will be starting on 1 May, as to hunger strike safely there is preparation needed. I making this post now in case anyone wants to join me and will want to prepare. I am not doing a dry hunger strike, I will be having fluids and I also don’t believe I will be able to hunger strike safely for more than 15 days for health reasons.

If you want to participate, please do your research and do it safely. I am doing this for the Gazan children who don’t have a choice right now, and I know in my heart I owe it to them. There is so much we consider a basic right and take for granted that people in Gaza don’t have access to. This hunger strike is solely in solidarity/raise money for Anera, there is no specific end result.

He must have dozed off for a while because when something in the air shifts he bolts awake. He pushes himself up and looks over to the other two in the room. Morgana’s back is arched and his hair stands on end. Futaba is frozen next to him and Akira follows her gaze to the attic window. Through the frosted panes, he can make out a figure right outside. The window jostles in its frame. Akira goes for his knife. It slides open and he can’t help freezing in place. Because it’s Goro Akechi stepping through the open window and slamming it closed. It’s Goro Akechi standing at the foot of the mattress, red eyes ablaze.

Even paradise has its regrets

Goro’s just begun to peel the gun from Akira’s grasp when he finally tears himself away. His whole body trembles violently, and he stumbles a little on his feet without his rival to hold him up. 

He raises the gun. And aims it right in the middle of Goro’s forehead.

“Akira…?” His voices comes out so small, so uncertain. He sounds abandoned, lost. But then that disappears, replaced by a certainty that breaks Akira’s heart. “You won't shoot me.”

“I will.”

“No. You won't. Because if there's one thing I know for certain, it's that you love me far too much to ever let me die.”

The tears fighting to escape Akira’s eyes finally win. His grip on the gun trembles. His vision blurs, but he blinks the tears away. He can't afford to miss.

“You’re right,” says Akira, and fires the gun.
