“i told you, if you have to be weird and watch me while i sleep, at least do it without waking me up. doesn’t that kind of defeat the whole creepy purpose??”
We humans have always been looking to the stars; be it for guidance, for relaxation, or out of curiosity, we always gaze with a sense of wonder. I like to think that werewolves might have the same urge to explore the constellations. They might build their mythos from the sky’s formations, and study it with heartfelt awe. I wanted this piece to convey the clarity of a night sky untouched by light pollution, with the cool heavenly colors only the cosmos can offer. I hope I touched on that sense of connectedness I get when I see the night sky.

My piece for the 2016 werewolf calendar! I am so excited to be back for this coming year, with a couple of wintry werewolves in awe of the night sky. This piece was such an intense pleasure to work on.

I’m so excited to share with you the final version of the snake poster I provided illustrations for. The Roger Williams Zoo is working to help educate the public about these common mistaken identities between venomous and non-venomous snakes in the Northeast. I am happy that I could be a part of this project!
