the first step to recovery is acceptance.
accepting that you are living with an illness, one that you did not ask for nor is it any fault of your own.
accepting that you are worthy of a healthy life fully of happiness, love and healing.
accepting that healing is NOT linear.
accepting that healing takes time, and to heal is to feel.
accepting that you can get better.
accepting yourself for who you are.

There is no "right" or "wrong" way to react to trauma. There is only survival. You do what you can until you can get out and get safe, and that is the only thing that should ever matter. You deserve to be respected for how you cope with your pain. But you also deserve to be respected enough to know you're worth the effort to heal and seek recovery if you so choose.

Relationships are all about compromise and communication. If you want different things but refuse to talk about it, you’re far more likely to get stuck in a situation where you’re both unhappy. Be vulnerable with each other, be honest about what you want for yourself, and seek an answer where you’ll both be better off. This won’t always be a desirable process or have an ideal answer, but it is always better to try than automatically give in to the idea that it’s impossible.

Some people don't see how much you do for them. they only see what you don't do. you'll never satisfy an ungrateful person.

solidarity between people who want to take psychiatric meds to function and those who don’t.
What’s important is that we both have autonomy, informed consent and safe access to treatments we want, and to not be forced, coerced or pressured into those we don’t.

People who love you shouldn't make you feel ashamed of your interests and hobbies. What you enjoy is wonderful, even if it's uncommon, complicated, stereotypical, etc. Please keep sharing your lovely energy with the world.
